I had one of the late night massages from one of the small massage shops a couple of doors from the hotel. They would send the girl up to the room, and I was quoted some ridiculous prices for HJ and FS, I think it was 1K and 3K!! I just opted for the HJ, but at least the girl was the one I chose, and her massage was pretty good.

Looks like a new place, adjacent to Parkway Inn (which, for those who are unfamiliar, is next to Landmark Hotel at Nana). There's a red painted stairway up from the street to the lobby. Another stairway up to the massage area which consists of curtained beds. Not much privacy as plenty of sounds can be heard from the neighbouring beds which can keep your imagination engaged. Although the massage does escalate into plain vanilla specials, I couldn't get over the annoyance of the sounds. Tariff card : TTM at THB350 and oil at THB450. If you would like to try something new, this is clean and freshly painted as of now.

Cozy Spa, located at the foot of the Nana BTS escalator that ascends almost from Soi 8 as it were. The spa has no street front and, to enter it, you open a narrow glass door on the pavement that fronts a flight of stairs. There used to be an Indian restaurant here earlier that is now gone, defeated by high rental demand, I gathered. Wonder how a massage shop, just another in Bangkok, would afford such high rents that a specialty restaurant couldn't. But TiT.
On the first floor they have a line of reclining chairs for foot massages, while the private rooms are located on the higher floors. It's all cramped, of course, but passable. The plump, genial lady in charge of the place had a nice smile and cheerful disposition and she promised me her girls will give me a memorable oil massage for 500 baht.
The lady given to me gave me a casual "take off everything" instruction. The massage was not bad. What pleasantly surprised me were the unasked favours she bestowed on me (perhaps because the place is new) by way of liberal grazing and fingering and full intimate touches. When she asked me to turn over she liberally oiled and rubbed my crotch. It was thereafter that she popped the question of a special. 1000 for a topless HJ. She was a sweet lady and a good conversationalist but the 1000 for HJ was a turn-off.
I find ladies are increasingly resistant to a 500 HJ. They're aiming to set a new standard of 1000 baht.

I used to like exploring a lot of oil massage places and I appreciated the reports, thanks. A massage and a little 500 at the end was fun, though I haven't done as much in recent years (found regulars who were more generous and cost effective). But 1,000 for something I do just as well myself is too much and doesn't realistically reflect the market, in my opinion.
