I agree fully with your statement about massage and the "extra goodies" one can get if you are a nice boy.... I will be in BKK in sep, 8 days only. Money is no prob so I need not chase the cheap places. I just want the very best! Have you any suggestions since you seem to have tried a lot? Last time I was there is 4 years ago so I guess that is no help. Please give me some suggestions for good places I "must-see". Have not tried oil much (had a great one in Taipei not too long ago - fantastic it was!) but thought that would be on the agenda this time. I read somewhere about a place that had 2 ladies doing the oily stuff in the most perfect way. Recognize it? It is nice to have TTM but it can be helped: it builds other "tensions" and if this canīt be "adjusted" the place is not really helpful. I understand soi 33 is good but gives no extra?

Adhoc / Deep File, in my case, did not have any buz discussion with the lady (included in the 980).
When she ask me to turn aroung (face up), she did not started any massage as we used to have in TTM or Oily but just carressing my whole body with her fingers. Then she just sat with her legs behing / supporting mine wide open and she started the HJ.

As you can read I'm still teh newbie kid on the block and can't compare to The Mac, Griffins, or Deep Files comprehensive knowldege, but try and get some bits of advise off to you in couple of says. These places are not good value in my limited experience of them. Barrons is the biggest rip off I have come across, but i expect fairly typical. Why not buy yourself some oil and get a thermae girl to give you the full works, a lot less and hurried than in one of these parlors. The parlors which I think are good value are the soapies, for some reason the oil type places work out more but give you less.-peter

Believe it or not, I was in BKK first time in 1977 (no, I am not 80 yo!) and have been there many times since. I remember when Patpong was quite nice and you could go there in the afternoon and just sit in a relaxed beerbar together with cuties and buddies, drink Singha and watch the latest movies which they always ran in 16mm film on a screen same as the airlines did it then! After that relaxed cuties joined in other activities....
This forum has proved to me that I have lost SO much fun things that I could have done if I had only known about it in all other trips! So now I am going to make up for it in only 10 days next month - phew...
Anyways - you mention it is better to head out for the "...famous MP" if $$$$ are not the important matter. Well, fortunately they are not these days, so what names were you thinking of? They are most likely to get a visit!
And Barons seem to be an odd story! Thai3 says itīs shit, whilst others seem to think itīs great?! What is one to believe?? Maybe I should hire someone to go out there and pre-test them for me! Any applicants for a new kind of Test-Pilot job?!!

Baron is not "an odd story"; if you review the various threads and do some quick math you will see that 95% of those who have sampled the services there have found them to be satisfactory. There's always the 5% who are turned off or have an unpleasant experience; this is true of any venue.

Baron is EXTREMELY popular in this forum. But when comepared to the various different t-town sanuk related forums out there, I don't think Baron or other oily mps are that high on the list.
But to each his own. Take every person's opinion with a grain of salt. Take it for what is. An opinion. You may agree with them and like it, but then again, you may not. I found Baron to be enjoyable but somewhat over price for it's service. I personally think you get a better value from normal/soapy MPs. But that's just my opinion...

Boy-o-boy! Some of these threads they just get a mind of they're own and go off on tangents, eh?  Just goes to illustrate how broad is the umbrella of "massage" in Thailand.
We start out here at Dai-Ichi which is primarily TTM with a small component only of oily and span all the way to Barons which is primarily FS bangs with a pretense of oily only with the added zest of a few TTM girls.

And odd as this might seem to you, my last three soapies all used the matts which had me missing the 'in-bath only' versions only on account of the bath ritual felt interrupted by the theatrics. Sometimes the matts shatter the 'ritual' too much for me and introduce a kind of novelty I can do without. Then again it's really all about what I'm hungry for on that given day. Understand?
