Where is this place Luang Prabang ? I guess, it is in Laos ? And one can go via koh Chang ?

Bimlee, Yeah its a magical place, the old capital of Laos. Very old french style. You can take a 2 day slow boat from Chiang Kong or a 1 day boat ride from Chaing Sean. Its only a 1 hour flight from Bangkok. Very laid back place, but I have only been once for 2 days and could not find a woman and the massage places they don't do nude. So not a mongers paradise, that was why I was trying to get some ideas. I got a tuk tuk driver to take me to a couple of brothels when I was in Vientianne, shit the girls looked about 14, I don't do that, got out of there in a real hurry. He reckons he goes there all the time, to each their own, but not for me.

Bimlee, you can get to LuangPraBang from Koh Chang by going back to Bangkok, and then either catching the plane there, or taking a train, or bus to NongKhai, crossing into Laos over the Friendship bridge, then taking the bus for 12-14 hours into the middle of Laos to LuangPraBang.
Koh Chang is not on the way there...lolol. You can get into Cambodia easily from Koh Chang, but not Laos. You would be at the far South of the country with the only way to get to LuangPraBand being by bus for 3 days, or a day to Paksi then fly.
There are only one, or two hotels in LuangPraBang that has dancing, and it doesn't get started until after 11:00pm. There is no age limit for entry...lolol.
Most girls know that a man by himself over 40 is looking for a rental for the night. They might approach you, and they might not. Some are pretty shy even though they hook, and English is limited.
In Bangkok there are quite a few Lao girls freelancing, with a few in soi 7 beer garden. In the gogos and bar beers they are there to, just ask and you will find one from Laos pretty quick.
Don't ask mamasan for a girl from Laos then they are all from Laos, but ask a girl you suspect being from there where she is from. Most likely she will be from Northern Isaan, or Laos.

Guys, thanks for all the info on this thread. I'm a regular visitor to Bkk and always make time for a trip to Mango but still haven't gotten more than a third of the way through the menu.
I keep getting side-tracked by memories of previous sessions and going for a repeat.

The anniversary date of my first year living here is coming up, and when I first moved here a book was on my list of possibilities.
Most of the basic goals I set for myself in the first year have materialized. The only thing I am having trouble with is retaining what I learn in Language classes.
I just haven't been able to get my brain thinking in Thai yet. It still wants to constantly refer to English when I hear things, but I'll be here for quite a few years so I've got time. I'm totally immersed with Thai all around me too, I've just not been able to switch my thought pattern yet.
