Actually Tarntip is on the right as you leave Sukhumvit. There is a new shop directly opposite owned by the same people. Have to say 3000 is a tad on the high side.

Actually both shops are now called Tarntip. the name of the second i.e. the one on the right was called something else and was being run as a partnership. Was there a falling out ?
Seems from the post that extras are avilable at the "new" Tarntip unlike the old place where it was all a bit hit and miss.
Visited the delightful Jum at Foot Joy and boy she was not happy. Apparently her boyfriend has jumped ship and she is pissed. Had a nice time consoling her though.

I took the one on the right. Nice cozy looking place with clean green carpets going upstairs. Had a good oil massage for 300/400 baht, girl was sporadically chatty but since the massage was nice my eyes were closed and the mind was following her fingers. No extras offered but I wasn't looking for them anyway.

The old Tarntip on the right has closed. It's all happening at the new shop accross the soi and from a recent visit it would appear rules on extras have been relaxed.

The answer is yes to all your questions as far as the Tarnthip on the right is concerned. But I'm surprised to see Somkid reporting that it's closed now because I was there just around the first of this month and the bright green carpets seemed new. Well, you never know with Bangkok.
