Last month I visited the Sanzanka massage place in Washington Sq, a friend had given me the thumbs up so I wanted to try for myself.
It is situauted a few doors down from the Bourbon St bar and when you go in you're given a menu listing the various massage, the one to go for is the Sanzanka at 1360bt for 2 hours then you're shown a photo album to choose your girl. The girl I chose was a pretty good likeness to her photo and there seemed a good selection.
You are then given a locker and a key you keep throughout to put your wallet, phone etc in whilst you are busy. I then went upstairs to a standard massage cubicle with bed and the girl came in , I stripped off and we went downstairs to another massage cubicle. In this one was a bed and a shower and once you lie down on the bed you are showered and given a good soaping and hosed down before rock salt is applied and then the girl pounds you and then this is repeated on the front of you. After the salt treatment is finished you are washed and then a shampoo before going back upstairs to the original cubicle.
I was then given a nice relaxing traditional massage before hot towels were applied from my neck downwards totally covering my body and then a plastic cover is put on before the girl walked up and down on my back which felt great. When she has finished this she removes all the towels and gives a very light finger massage all over before putting the baby oil on my dick and giving me a lovely wank to finish off.
It really was a fantastic 2 hours and I felt brilliant when I left , no tip is expected but I gave the girl one as she earnt and I'll be going back next time I'm in Bangkok.

Washington Square... I've heard about it and undoubtedly passed it on Suk!
Are Washington Square and this place on the even or odd side of Sukhumvit?

Washington Square is on the even side - Soi 22. If your walking up Suk on the even side it is the Soi before the Emporium and Phrong Phong skytrain stop.
If you are coming from the lower Suk area just take the skytrain up to the Phrong Phong station. Get out on Emporium side, and walk down toward Soi 22 or cut through where you see the Mambo (Cabaret).
Washington Square has a couple of traditional massage places (all unfailingly offer extras), a number of expat oriented bars, a pretty decent restaurant called Bourbon Street and a few pool table style bars that can be friendly (New Square One comes to mind).
Washington Square can be a nice change of pace. It can be good area to grab a beer or five without being hassled. The area is not always high on my to do list, but it has some charm and the staff of virtually all the establishments have always been extremely nice.

I like Washington Square.
Lots of guys don't but the atmosphere is really laid back and the girls there are pretty friendly.Nice change of pace.You can also check out the bars on soi 22 while you are there.

Definitely a number of good options in that area, all of them pretty low key (no go-go venues). Sanzanka is a fairly recent addition... good post Roland.
