As Charles Bukowski stumbled onto his career in Post Office, it began as a mistake. I was really trying to find Maliryn Massage, following directions elsewhere in this website. Since I normally walk faster than Bkk.'s rush hour traffic, I walked from the subway's Cultural Center station, east on Thiam Ruam Mit Road, about a mile to an intersection. There I meant to bear left (north) to cross Pracha U-Thit Road and get to Maliryn. This is quite a large establishment, with restaurant, nightclub, men's and women's sauna/health club/exercise rooms (available at 140 baht/day or 3,400/year), and a good-size fishbowl with about 25 ladies, some quite attractive. A friendly papasan told me about the simple plan: 600 baht to the house for 2 hours of oil massage, and 1500 to the lady for full service. As I'm not interested in hand jobs or BJs, I didn't ask, but assume they are on offer at the usual prices.
I chose Miss Ja, a lovely small lady with big boobs that were mostly artificial, but looked good on her. The 1500 FS price was negotiated up front, so there was no problem getting her clothes off. I have been to Carnation about six times and each time I was able to find something to poke. Going rate is indeed 1500 baht for the girl with no tip needed and 600 baht to the house. Best time to go is after 3pm but I think they open at 10 or 11am. Most girls don't speak english and they cater more to an asian clientele but I don't think there is a farang surcharge. There is a spa, barber shop and restaurant in the complex. Usually there are at least twenty girls in the fishbowl.

True, I meant to mention that there was no hot water at all in my room. There is a choice of rooms, at 550 for a standard, and 600 for a larger room. I paid the 600, but that sure didn't include hot water.

Yup, there is another place next to the expressway with the same modus operandi. Oily or traditional massage with 1,500 baht to the girl for extras. Not usually negotiable and the girl generally brings it up towards the end of the session. Lots of nice lookers in the fishbowl, some decent performers, but better be practicing your Thai at these establishments. Good luck.

As it turns out, the company I work for uses Carnation as a 'visiting farang obligatory dinner-and-a-f***' venue. I, myself, was taken there as part of my 'interview'!
Although I didn't indulge (except for dinner), there was indeed a nice selection, many of whom were eating dinner with their 'guests', presumable before 'the deed'.
