Hi guys.
using TFSE I did not find any hint.
Have enjoyed the rub and rock salt treatment several times, but is there anywhere else?
Rock salt is not necessary,but a nice cleansing back rub like in HKK or else would be fantastic.
Is there any upscale operation offering this?
Will post FR about it. I am planning to be in BKK 1st March.

Ask for what you want in Tony's massage in Soi 23 further down from Cowboy on the opposite side of the soi.
You'll get what you want.
They are Traditional Thai massage-trained and you will have a number of options to chose from including aromatic treatment, lotion and oil.
Cheapest place in town. Not a high-class place at 100 baht an hour. Certainly not your high-class Spa and massage joint. But thourough and really good if you want a proper massage.
The girls get 50 baht out of the 100 baht for the hour so I'd tip very generously.
It's a very clean place with a nice authentic Thai atmosphere. No rip-offs and not like the usual oily/soapie massage places that are just fronts for sexual release, although I do believe that being releasd here has at times with certain individual providers been on the unofficial menu.
But Tony, the owner and manager, a good,friendly guy, does not approve, but I'm sure he recognises the fact that the girls have to grab (?) at oportunities to earn a bit more if the occasion or anything else arises (?).

Thx JW, but do they only do Thai massage or also a proper back rub?
I asked, because thai massage joints with its more gymnastic like features is usually do not offer a back rub where you may need a staem room or at least a washing area like Sazanka.

No steam room and no washing area as such. But you can get a good solid back rub there. Just ask for what you want.
