called from my hotel to book and after a long discussion the mamasan suggested and I agreed on someone.however,without telling me. they sent a different person.normally,i would have kicked the person out but it was late and I was tired and horny.anyways the next day I went to the shop to complain and basically got no where.i will never use mango again.

Allan I think it can be a lottery at times with regard to speaking to the actual mamasan or a stand-in when calling by phone. The stand-in's generally have more difficulty understanding what you are saying
I take it from your episode you weren't happy with the choice they sent you?? Still there's alot to be said for taking a lucky dip now and then
I hope you managed to find the right girl when you went and complained and didn't waste all that effort to go there and just...well complain

Don't give up on getting satisfaction.
You need to talk to Nestle or June.
Call and find out when they will be there and
either call or visit and register your complaints
[switched girls, insensitive mamasan concerning your feedback] with them.
Ask for a complimentary 2 hours.
Many girls there give great service and you should not give up so easily.

Tezza-a few points and a follow up.
the person I spoke with on the phone was very fluent in english-flawless english.
the substitute did provide very good service but I think that was besides the point (her body and features were not my type-but this too is besides the point)
simply,it is not acceptable to me to switch people like that.
i subsequently sent mango an email and just got a response basically they now own up to what happened and offered me a 50% discount on the basic massage fee for my next massage.
i think it helped that they realized I was a good costomer of theirs in the past
i appreciate their offer and will give them another chance.

... as with most all of Thai businesses, owners give NO authority to managers... none... often, honest mistakes (customer walks the tab; undercharging; whatever) is deducted directly from the worker's salaries, as would any concession not approved by the owner.
... waste no time with the managers... go immediately to the only one who counts... the head kahuna.
... glad to see a concession on Nestle's part... earning customer loyalty does take some investment (generally, not a lot), but it usually pays for itself.

I have the same kind of problem with Mango...Talked to Nestlé on the phone, requested a specific lady, based on the information on this forum, and for sure did not get the right lady. It was past midnight..Did not have the energy to react and thought I would go to the shop next time I am in bkk...But I was really disappointed by this and by Nestlé. But service by Ice for instance was so good before..!!!

This problem is probably due to some girl having too many guy requesting them every day (they are human being and cant f*** 10 hours a day, anyone can understand that right?), and some other not getting enought customers because they are not famous...yet.
So the "Thai style" to solve this "ploplem" is to say whatever the customer want to ear "You want miss XXX, yes, no ploplem can do!" and then to send whoever is willing to go if miss XXX is busy/tired. This way they dont loose potential customers who might have said "ah, miss XXX is busy, ok nevermind I ll call back another day" and the not-so-popular-yet girl get a customer...
Of course from a farang customer point of view we see this as a business owner lying to us and treating us like sh*t,
but actually from a "Thai logic" point of view it make perfect sense! No loss of face, no need to say "no" to customer and some money coming their way...and anyway the horny farang still get a girl to "take care his little brother" 555

What you say makes a lot of sense Madfrog, and is no doubt correct.
Keeping this in mind will lead to less frustration and disappointment. If you don't speak to the girl directly (FL), or have a VIP guarantee (Eden), you basically take your chances when ordering out for the night. Also, I would venture to guess that the chances of not getting what you ordered increases the later it is, in part because of the reasons Madfrog cites.
And remember, it is almost never too late to go hunting for something else if you don't like what turned up instead. I personally am not too concerned about a switcheroo from places like Mango's as the disappointment is certain to be rather relative in scale.
