I was visiting the british embassy in amsterdam today
and the visa applications are recieved there and sent to germany.There was a big queue outside at 9 am of nigerians, indians etc.
Everyone without a EEU passport must have a visa
to visit the uk they will want lots of details and checks
money, guarantees etc. If the visa application is based on you it will be your details unless she has means herself.
I intend to visit the uk myself in a few months and will have to fill out the forms for my teerak.
She has to go in alone and last time it was refused the first time as some documents were missing. As I could not go in and she could not explain why it was refused its a pain in the arse. I can strongly advice to read carefully the application and give fully the documentation that is required.
It works in amsterdam like this ( I believe then the same for Paris ) you make an online appointment and if its refused !! you go back to the start of the queue again and have to make a new appointment.
They want to know everything about you except your dick size so good luck I heard the security saying it takes 15 working days to process at least.
Passport applications are now sent to Paris so I assume
its a large consulate but allow time and make the application correctly. Of course if she is doing it same same

Thanks Charlie,
I have a slight problem (in so far as I am married to Thai girl - living in England) and this one (who needs Visa, is a friend, who currently lives in France.... (she was my first serious Thai girl from over 11 years ago, and we met up again last year). I was actually thinking of killing my current wife and using her British Passport for the new one, but my wife is ugly and girlfriend is not, so photos won't match, also gf is 15 years younger than wife !!
But serioulsy, thank for your help. We will try the online process for Visa application, although I think her best bet would be to try and get a French Passport.

I would strongly advice the french passport
if she already qualifies.
I just took dutch for my son and me it took 6 mths.
My teerak does not consider reading or writing important or learniing the language of the country
you live in. So she will never qualify.She wanted a british one but I have not lived in the uk for 30 yrs so she can dream.
I have a thai girlfriend in US who would bother to learn the language but my son is attached to his mother so there you go I understand where your coming from.
She will have to apply for a visa and they want an adress and funds (hers) or whover is inviting her to the uk ( you ) if thats possible.
Definately easier the french passport then she can stay in the uk whenever as EEU citizen.

Filled out all the forms for her took her down and she
went inside yesterday, apparantly there was a communication problem not her fault as the guy spoke bad english, english guy in the british embassy 
Anyway they take finger prints now but her passport should be back in a week with a visa.
There was at least 1 other teerak in the queue.
She made comments that she was all dolled up with thai gold which is not done. Unless she does exactly the same at the airport then its ok.
Dont ya just love em.
