Thanks, guys, for the thoughtful replies.
I guess for the short term, I will head back and look for a job, or some contract work, but, truth be told, I am burned out and would rather join the non-high-tech business world.
So, if I do manage to get a full-time high-tech job, or even some contract work, it will be just to bank some US$, and explore some small business possibilities.
Anyway, the adventure begins Oct 1 at Suvannabhumi...

Dammit ! more rounds of layoffs by the Top Brass dickheads, they just laid off 500 employees in AZ and 300 in NM; Process chemist and IT Eng, DL OMs, techs all with years of experience....all given the no choice of longevity severance pay; dart board layoffs......good christ when will this recession end?
