I could not find a good link but it was on the thai news and front page bangkok post, from tommorrow jaywalkers will face a 200 baht fine if they refuse to use a pedestrian bridge or zebra crossing located within 100 metres.
That and cigeratte butts could be an income for the boys in brown on sukomvit. It mentions 200 baht though remember that amount, not so much to worry about as the price tag seems directed at thais. Just interesting to be aware of after that nice policeman stops you slumbering across the street.
