It's was amazing...I am guessing it is their standard meet area to check in, work out territory, etc... It Certainly did not appear to be a random gathering that's for sure. I'll check out again and see what I can find out.

Yeah, they do tend to gather in the same area. Perhaps they have found their new area. I used to see a few (3-5) hanging out at soi 13 or sometimes outside Thermae. That was a long time ago.

Yes, that they still do... 3, sometimes 5 I've seen around therme and soi 7... I'm also seeing a lot of African guys selling their stuff along this area as well.
This was like all the African Suk street walkers had to come and check in or whatever... Very organized so I'm guessing their handlers wanted to keep check on it all

Yikes, if they have handlers, one might want to be extra cautious. They might tail you and the girl back to your room and rob you. I've heard of these stories happening in other cities.

based upon my passing scan of the situation that night, I would say almost certainly the guys hanging around were handlers.... I have noticed on Suk, where some of the African ladies apply their trade, not too far up the street is a guy or two or 3 of similar origins. Maybe they are all on the same team...
While I would not put it past anybody, for foreigners in this line of work, I would think they would want to be extra careful and work hard to not run afoul of the MIB. I would think that would be doubly true for Africans not wanting to get in a mix up with the Police... but hey.. its BKK, anything can (and does) happen.

I've had several black girls from the Nana/Suk area over my last few trips and have had two that told me they were controlled by female handlers rather than men.
I like them, I've had good service from almost all of them and you can actually carry on a good conversation with most - plus the price is usually right; my only beef is that some could really use deodorant, lol....

Has anyone tried Club Sugar, on Sukhumvit soi 11? You might find some darkside action,at the club. Someone told me that the blacker the berry is, the sweeter the juice. Oskar Bistro is close by, just in case.
