Please give me same informations about the RAPIVHA near CHATUCHAK.
Or You have some more suggestions in this area for an one bedroom with kitchen and gym.

I am currently in Bangkok looking for an apartment/serviced hotel for one to two months. So far, I've seen Boss Tower at 13,000 plus utilities for 35 sq per month with two month deposit. They said I wouldn't pay the 7 percent government tax if I paid in cash. Rompo Mansion at 35 sq m, 9,400 plus tv, fridge, which comes to around 12,000 plus utilities. They want three months deposit including 1st month rent which would be in cash being they don't accept visa. Not sure how I like paying in cash only. I'm considering interchange tower near pratunum area. Not sure how safe or accessible by public transportation these different areas are after midnight if I hit sukhumvit area. If I took a cab back, what would the average cost be? If you have any new feedback let me know or you can send a message to my messenger. Thanks.

I lived there for 3 months. No public transportation any closer than ratchaprop road. Then you have to walk a narrow alley to the Soi. Can be dangerous, especially at night.

Taxi from Suk is about 60-70 baht (depending on the time of day).

Thanks for the info. Do You have any info about Evergreen Place. Is it guest friendly. What about the gym, especially the running machines? What about kitchen and the fridge.

Thanks a lot

I checked out Evergreen Place a few years ago, when I was doing training here in BKK. I personally did not like the place, lots of noise (even with the sound proofing), and the area (IMHO) hasnt really changed that much from some years ago. moved out after 2 nights

I ended up picking Oakwood, Near Central Rama III (walking distance). much better atmosphere, and good service, decent gym, nice pool area (where I had a few too many late night romps), traffic around Sathorn can get bad during the day and evening but there's a quick cut that can get you to Asoke pretty quickly...

there's also Sukhumvit Suites is Soi 13... decent gym, pool, walking distance to BED and lots of Korea restaurants in building, have a few friends in there.

if your looking for short term, 1-2 months near good locations, food, grocery, shopping and transport. I would try Pathuwan House near MBK or Silom City Court (Soi Phipat 2, off of Convent Road)... both under 15K and with the cost of month to month California WOW still cheaper than Oakwood or Evergreen...

Thanks Dr Love. A plus in being around Pratunum/Interchange area is the #2 bus which I know runs 24 hours, but it sounds a little unsafe walking back after midnight. Are there any other main streets to the hotel at night? Is it any safer around the Victory Executive, another hotel in the area or is the whole area a little unsafe after midnight? What about Rama 4 and Soi 36 area, Boss Hotel? There is traffic there at night and main streets, but I don't know what its like to walk around there late.

Dear nyc boy!

Thanks for Your answer. But as I booked Evergreen already, I have to stay there. I hope I will get a high floor as I requested for it.
But maybee You can answer my questions out of your remembrance.
Is it guest friendly. What about the gym, especially the running machines? What about kitchen, kitchen equipment and the fridge - is it large.
Is there also a local - no supermarket close.

Thanks a lot for Your efforts

erzherzog1809,

dont recall the gym, since I was only there for 2 days, and doing training for work all day... I am sure it has running machines though....

have you tried searching for evergreen in the above box, under Apartments... should pop up more than 3-4 times...

I looked these places up online by name and can't find them or places that sound close, but not sure. Do you have a link site to these places?
