Is it still open ? Last thread via search shows it was raided in Feb 04 - has it re-opened ?

If you look back a page or two you will find the Cave Bar Raid thread.
As Baht 2000's FR says,

It is open all right and the French freemasons who own it have hired an experienced manager who gets on well with police, workers, customers etc. Hopefully the place will stay open and become better value.
You have to be in to the scene to appreciate it I am told.

I am on an overnight stay and arrive late in Bangkok only to leave the following morning. I was thinking of a little sm action in transit and wondered if the Cave would still be going strong about midnight? I also would like to know a reasonably priced, sm friendly hotel nearby.
I will havbe more time on my return trip (6 days) to play at the well-known places such as Midori's and CJs. This overnight excursion is just meant to be a little light relief for a weary and randy traveller.
Also, any current info on Thermae, Grace Cafe and Eden would be appreciated. Please note: I arrive in BK at 11 pm and I'm out at 730 so please work within these parameters.

It is now not worth going to.. in essense a HJ/BJ bar with really high prices..
you could duplicate at Lolitas for much less??
Before the raid it was a good place and I went quite a few times, the upstairs was very nice and you could play with the shyer girls there..
now just the two 'naughty boy' corners.. no free show (they used to have girls give a show if you bought them a drink).. all they want is to get you a bit horney and get you off and get their money.. or they hit you for a barfine..
so B900 to get in, B1500 for the barfine.. B1000 for the girl (minimum) and you could be getting a high class girl at a massage parlor.. or two girls at Eden..
I will not be going back.. they had reduced the price from B900 to B500, but have now raised it up again and made what you do even more restictive then it was..
It just is not worth the money...
when new, it was kind of "kinky' to go there and for B900 you could see a bit of a show.. now nothing extra.. save your money gents
