Chucking it down in Pattaya so I look for a dry port in the storm. Where better than that soi with a few BJ bars at the top end left hand side. Soi Post Office or Soi 12, I can't recall but somewhere about there? The Pump Station may have been my destination.
The girls sitting out front are a fairly unremarkable bunch. If you mixed and matched their best features you'd get something pretty decent.

What is it about Pattaya that seems to guarantee me average experiences compared to the much maligned BKK? Answers on a postcard please.

I suppose because the invited answers ( on a postcard ) would go towards his understanding how other guys feel about what he is experiencing......i.e. that Bangkok can provide and usually does provide a far superior, better, more genuine experience ni all its avenues of provision and possibilities than tired old Pattaya with its jaded, automotically mehanical and neon lit emptiness of going through the motions, but with absolutey nothing behind it.

It's mainly a field report about the Pump Station which is in Pattaya.... so....
I agree with Madfrog, Pattaya girls are usual much more fun to be with than those from Bangkok.

Interesting that the Pattaya v BKK debate arouses such strong but well rounded arguments. I also spend alot of time in CMX while in LoS and the opinions re: the Rose of the North are similarly split.
So, where to go to get a near as damnit guaranteed knee trembler with knobs on? Erm, left foot, right foot, PP2, past the boxing bar, under the roofed bar past the pharmacy and voila, SoL.
