Recently I made a spur of the moment trip to Patpong because a friend of mine wanted to see a pussy show. I remembered vaguely Sauron recommending Super-something, so I went into the first place that seemed half-way decent (of the 6 or so bars in Patpong that start with Super), knowing it was a crap shoot.
It turns out it was "Super Pussy" and it was a total rip off. There was no cover, but the drinks were 300B and the girls were very aggressive. I'd never been ripped off like that in a bar, so I thought it was all very comical (especially the one girl trying to justify the cost and why I should tip her). We only spent 15 minutes there, not even finishing our drinks (I left 180B worth of beer on the table!).
We went across the street to a place I'd been several years before and I previously thought was Queen's Castle (and was 99% sure was King's group show bar). Now that I'm looking at a map, I can't really say for sure what bar it was, I guess it must have been Firecat or Lipstick. It was definitely an upstairs show bar, and the room was almost square (and as you go up the stairs the bar is on the right, if that helps anyone).
I'm 99% sure this was the bar I was in a few years ago, but at that point I was sure it was a King's Group bar, too. Suffice it to say that there was no small amount of alcohol involved in these decisions and memories.
Anyway, whatever bar it was was great. There was no cover, the drinks were reasonable 90-120B, the girls were friendly and while not stunners they were certainly cute enough. I didn't really pay much attention to the show, but the girl was certainly a lot more attractive and pleasant than most girls I'd seen doing those stunts. It was also a full-on diddling bar.
We ended up spending 10x as much money in this bar as in the ripoff bar.

I think the bars of the King's Group are fine. They are clear on their pricing and I have never had a bill padded.
Yes, the pussy shows are boring and so even if I go to PP I don't wander in for those (same goes for NEP when they have the same shows in some of the bars). I think most of those shows are aimed at the casual traveler, not guys who live there or go there often like I do.. If you have seen a few you have seen a lifetimes worth...
I have not been to Pussy Galore or Queen's for a few years, but PG was a bar that was almost square and you go upstairs on the right .. I had read somewhere that KG had moved the two of them a few years ago, but never checked it out.
The only reason I have to go to PP is to hit the occasional BJ bar, but with the emergence of Lolitas and Alley Cat, I find that unnecessary anymore.

I repeat my recommendation that if you need to go see a pussy show, it might as well be this one. The pussy show is there, but it is not in your face (unless you want it to be) and it's not the only entertainment. I was there for several hours and really wasn't paying attention much to the show at all, there were many other distractions including the other girls on the stage (and the ones sitting with me).
If you need to find a really hot looking girl, then maybe this is not the place. If you just want to check out the pussy show (so you can check it off your list) and want to hang out with some attractive, fun girls, I recommend this place.
