Sauron - Thanks for your reply!!! ŬI knew I was in way over my head but since I've been curious for so long and had talked to a number of people trying to decide whether I wanted to try it or not, I thought that writing something from the outside looking in might help. Ŭ
But, you are right, duh of course, there are so many different aspects and genre within the more general genre that it would probably even be hard for one who enjoys a specific aspect to explain their reasons and motivations to someone who enjoys a different aspect.
Again, I thank you for your reply because I find the whole culture so interesting because so much more of one's thoughts and mind comes into play. ŬI know this isn't an SM forum but I enjoyed your insight all the same!

Now I understand why Lawrence of Arabia was turned on by a beating given by the Turks after capture during the First World War. I think you have adequately explained as much as possible. I fully follow the fantasy part but my poor old brain is still having trouble trying to work out the time factor. I get bored with most activities after a few hours. But as you say it is difficult to explain. I have been perscribed various medication for stress, although it has ever done so far is make me ill !!

Actually I do understand the lenght of time.
I have no experience with BDSM (or at least only the most superficial and generic type) but I have had 24/48/72 hour experiences of roleplaying and fantasy fulfillment where the length of time served to greatly heighten the ability to totally leave "the real world" behind. The right partner(s), a room with no windows (the VIP rooms in Peep Inn being my fave), and no phone calls or outside intrusions, hour after hour in a sexual/fantasy mode can take you to a whole other level.

Smegma - Actually it is not all that interesting. "Crotch rocket" = Motorcycle. It was during a race when someone lower on the banked curve and a bit in front of me lost a front tire which threw him into me and then me into a wall. It was more of a glancing blow than
running straight into the wall but I still ended up better than the other rider.

Obviously that is 5000 baht/6 hours/per Domme, minimum 2.
That is less than 1000 baht per Domme per hour, you really want to kvetch about that? Meals and drinks included. No tipping required.
That is really quite inexpensive. These are real Dommes not hookers with whips. I assume you know the difference.
