I been an hotel guest for 2 nights in aug 2003...saw the karaoke place walking out and it looked kinda dark.
On the other side of the hall they have a nice restaurant.and a 7-11 just across the street.
Mainly chinese frequented and way too out of town...could take u fairly more than 30 mins to get to On Nut,the nearest bts station by taxi 
but the hotel itself is not that bad at 800 double with breakfast x 2. 500 instead for a single.
Gonna worth a trip the karaoke alone?there's alot of lot them around that area,,,would like to hear a report somehow.

I don't know the places above, but for mysterious reasons I did stay about 6 months in the Mayfair Hotel on soi Yenjit (Chan Rd soi 24). It's an old place with cigaret burned carpet. Mostly Chinese and Chinese tourists. On the 4th floor they had a karaoke attached to a big fishbowl. A notice in the elevator said they had TTM, Oil, karaoke, and VIP rooms. I investigated soon after moving in and found that info to be accurate up to my experience. Oil for 2 hours was 500 baht in one of the rooms on that floor. All to yourself and the lady. The whole floor 4 was converted for these purposes.
However the girls were often not reaching my standard, though many were. Some were seemingly recruited immediatly to my demand---I always saw one selling fruit nearby in the morning on my way to work. The youngest and actually attractive girls all came from Chiang Rai province, and more or less fit the Thai standards. However most of them weren't proficient in oil massage so you had to rent the VIP room (same room, same 500 baht) and pay them 1000tip during your TTM for hankus pankus.
It was fun staying there as many of the girls lived there too all in a room and you'd meet them on the elevator. I guess the place had a lot of party potential--even more than I realized.
Now I have heard that Mayfair has closed its 4th floor spectacular, but haven't been over to confirm; haven't been for almost 2 years. I wonder if anyone can confirm this.
