Re: the "missing in action" party volunteers (9 of them at this point)
What I think may be going on is that some of these "brothers" may have dropped out of the forum in the 60 days since the 2/27 party was announced. Thus they are not 'around' to read the PMs I sent them.

This does not explain the others for whom I have apparently valid email addresses, but who have also gone silent. But only three in this category.
This all tells me I was right to overbook this event. And in the future, I'll know better than to take cyber handles at their word.
Anyway who knows? Maybe some will actually show up, in which event I probably shopuld not bother to lecture them about simple courtesy, after all.

Actually, on the issue of RSVP, I think you are right about the possibility of some who have not confirmed showing up at the end.
I admit having been guilty sometimes of something similar, as I remember often having paid attention to the RSVP only if not attending. In many instances, if I knew I was going to the event, I didn't bother to confirm, but did advise if not attending.
I am not trying to justify the situation here, as the nature of this event and its size makes responding more critical. Just trying to say what some of those guys may be thinking.

Two more RSVP regrets, thus reducing the "MIAs" to eight.
Still two more did check in but are unsure as yet, they will resolve scheduling conflicts (or not) early next week.
Perhaps some of the Twilight Zone denizens just are waiting till they are sure before final confirmation. Or maybe Smegma is right and they think affgormative confirmation isn't necessary.
Well, it isn't except for me not to overshoot or undershoot on the grog and grub.

Planners of any such events take heed, a 2X overbooking is inadequate. 3X is more like it.
I think I'll be OK planning the beer and foor for 10 -- including the slave girl and her Master.

Just reading thorugh your party program gave me a hard-on .
I can just imagine the fantastic time for the participants .
Since your party will be on in a couple of days - here's wishing you and all participants one fantastic f_ck-fest .
As many members have already requested please consider allowing an FR without identies .
I know you said this is a one time affair so it would not serve any purpose . But I think it would serve some purpose it informing us illiterates on what we are missing out on so that we will never miss another opportunity like this .

BTW, in case of defections beer can be kept in your refrigerator, as for the slave she could be second ....hand drinker.

Yes Bongo beer will keep. Food will not. The slave girl will keep. My patience with frivolous mercurial wannabe sybarites who can't pry themselves out of their armchairs to come have free beer, free food, and a free clusterf_ck not to mention the show with 5 Dommes and a female slave, will not.
This reminds me of the weeks and months prior to opening Chateau Jade. Many many Bangkok and regional expats thanked me profusely and swore they would come patronize the place. A common statement went "Oh, God, I've been living here for (insert number from 2 to 15) years and I'm so bored, a Fem Domme House will be GREAT! Count me in!"
In the event very very few showed up. Fortunately, lots of subs from everywhere ELSE did show up. But not the expats, they were conspicuous by their absence.
The experience with this party is quite similar. 20 said they would come, it looks like 5-6 will now show up. The others have various excuses, some probably real and valid, some apparently flimsy pretexts. Might as well have said "Oh, I have to wash my hair."
Well, half a dozen guys will have a great time.
I should have scheduled this for St.Crispen's Day. Then at least we could use the famous quote.

I assume that Sauron was just having a joke but I believe the illicit substance is actually spelled with an "X" in it. (Not sure though).
Mind you incorrect spelling won't necessarily save you from a bullet!
