Funny, I'd always thought that I was VERY slow. And I still think I am if I've been drinking at all. But I had a conversation with Jxn on Thursday in which she'd thought of me as rather quick or normal and even shy (!!!)... Guess those girls have seen and done a lot, and I guess for all the strong impressions that they give me, I'm fairly tame as far as their whole job in concerned.
NicFrenchy, this question has come up before as it's a concern of several. Some guys will suggest you take them out to a hotel or your place and have all the time you want. If no can do, then here's my experience. I have never known any time limit in the bar and no one has ever told me Time's Up. However, they are humans not robots and have limits to the endurance of their hands and mouth. People have quoted before that a half hour is probably the natural endurance level, maybe it is. So if you're going over that time (if you can still focus your eyes on your watch) maybe it'd be a good time to buy her a lady drink (or another lady drink, if you have already), and tip well at the end. Then next time you come in you might have a rep for longevity but you'll have a bigger rep for good heart.
Any other suggestions?

At least three short-time hotels within very close proximity to the Star of Light itself. One in Patpong 2. One in Patpong 1 and the other just round the corner in Suriwonge Road. All the ladies in the Star of Light bar know of these hotels, as this is one of the first things that it made known to them on their first day of working at the bar.
Hotel price ranges between 350 and 400 baht.
Bar-fine payable to the bar is 400 baht.
Rates for the lady depend on what you want and how long you want it. Rates differ slightly depending on the girl you choose and sometimes, for some ladies, the volume of customer traffic on that particular day or night.
But I suspect that this is not the low season any more, even though the tourist industry has definitely been damaged by all the adverse publicity given to the military coup and political state of the country, certain incidents involving foreigners and the violence elsewhere in the south of Thailand together with what was a clamp-down on opening times for the night-life businesses in general, even though over the past month or two, this seems to be relaxing more and more, which to us is all for the good.
Somebody asked where the Star of Light was located. And for a newbie, this is a good question for it is difficult to find. The enquiry was met fully by a few brothers here, as well as directing him to the first page of this thread.
However, if you have the ability to block out all extraneous noise and blaring music blasting in your ears all around you, if you are in the loose (?) proximity to Silom or Suriwonge, just atune your ears to pick up the faint sounds of slurping, licking, moaning and pleasureable groaning, intermixed with the occasional ecstatic yelp of joy or in some cases a jubilant yodel in celebration of orgasm and follow the sounds. You'll find it easily.

Best way to address the time issue is to just accept when "two ladies" are offered. This helps the girls pace themselves, and believe me, they work together very smoothly and effectively. I personally think that it is a little rude to expect a solo girl to suck continuously for 30 minutes. That is a long time. Some of the girls, like Khun T*k, or Khun O*y, can probably make you come anyway, whether you are old, fat, f***ed out and drunk or not, but taking "two ladies" spreads the job out, and speaking only for myself, I also enjoy a mouthful of tit and a handful of ass while a second girl swallows me deep.
It can get a bit expensive to bar fine two ladies and take them to a short time hotel. You are looking at 400 baht bar fines x 2 (800 baht), a short time room @ 400 baht, then standard short time fees to the ladies of around 1,500 baht x 2 (3,000 baht). Altogether....4,200 baht, and that assumes no beers in the bar beforehand, no lady drinks, and no tips to the girls for services rendered. Then again....when you put it all in perspective....that is just over a hundred American dollars, to enjoy the undivided attention and expertise of two professional fellatrixes for a couple of hours. A steal.
When you consider, however, that you can also just enjoy the same two ladies on couch number one or couch number two for 700 baht x 2....for 1,400 baht....hell. That is dirt cheap. The downside is that you are sprawled out in front of everyone, and the other girls will comment on the proceedings....but some of us here (ahem) find that sort of exhibitionism appealing. With a couple of beers, and a couple of lady drinks....with tips...you could get out for under 2,000 baht, and you could take as long as you need to bust a nut, and two ladies could keep you well in hand.
I still think that it is courteous to come within a 30 minute timeframe, however. If you are drunk, or if you have been f***ing a lot, or if you are old, or if you are (like me), just jaded as hell, then think about the girls a bit and tell them that you need to accumulate some "power" before they get to work.
Personally, I like to live a busy lifestyle, and it works best when I practice abstinence for 24 or 48 hours before I go to SoL. That way, when I walk in, I drop trou, I get blown, I am fast, I am easy, and I am copious for the girls. They feel good, I feel good, and the world, as the expression goes, continues to go 'round.

4,200 BHT is much closer to US$120,, those green thingies have been falling.
Still not too bad a price for excellent service. But if you can find the right gals at smaller less popular bars or perhaps even freelancers you could have a whole night ( LT ) for that.
If the girls are charging 1,500 BHT for ST on top of the 400 BHT bar-fine its starting to price itself out of the market.
I guess I'll just have to settle on the slightly more private room within the bar, that for 2 Gals at 1,400 BHT sounds like the best value.

I think that it is a bit mean to hand the girls a mere 1,000 baht, however, when the standard rate for short time virtually everywhere else in Bangkok is 1,500. Hell, as you probably know well, it is not uncommon for freelancers and massage girls to request 2,000 baht for short time. And they get it, often enough. It used to be that 2,000 baht was the rate for long time. It can be a challenge, at times, to even get a stunner from a go-go to agree to go long time at all, these days.
Speaking only for myself, I rarely hand the girls less than 2,000 baht when I take them out of the bar, whether it is for long time or short time. I rationalize 2,000 baht for short time as 1,500 plus tip. If I take them overnight, I try to hold the line at 2,000 baht, and I bump them for taxis, and I tip them in other ways (like, I buy expensive bottles of perfume, shopping visits to Huaykwang night market, take them out to dinner, try to ply them with booze, etc.)
Do we chalk up price inflation to broader economic trends? Or blame the Japs and stupid tourists? Or are spendthrifts like myself at fault? No idea. I do know that many girls in go-go's and at Biergarten dislike expats, because we "know too much." Not SoL girls. Most of them will still go short time for 1,000 baht. I just cannot pay them less than 1,500 baht, myself. It is just me, I suppose.
I will say that for the truly popular girls, you will be assured to get their best effort by handing them 1,500 baht for short time. We all know who they are. For some of the less popular girls....rather than just stay in the bar sleeping on the couches, they will accept 1,000 baht gratefully. It is these girls....the ones who are not fully booked all the time...that are likely to really give you a good effort. They are not tired. The really popular girls...they are working a lot, lately.
I increasingly prefer to just check in at the bar, do the deed on the premises, and then get the hell out of the way. Turn-over. The girls need turn-over. Doing the deed on site is cheap for me, it is fast and convenient, and it helps me rationalize all the gifts and food and chocolates and jeans and shoes and stuff that I lavish on them.
The girls are coming out of a very rough low season, and like Joe Wood, I fear that the high season this year may be delayed, or disappointing. Fortunately, the most popular girls have been busy, for the most part. With the exception of one day last week, they have been f***ing and sucking their innocent little hearts out.
I broke down tonight, however. Whichever of you cowboys is attempting to monopolize Khun T*k this evening, the reason that she will not stay with you all night is because she is coming to my place to watch movies, to eat breakfast, to put her feet up, and to sleep unmolested in a clean, comfortable bed. I may not even nail the poor girl, unless you have left her horny and unfulfilled. The sweetheart has been booked solid for a week now.

I'll see how business is come January / February,, if slow maybe I'll get takers at 2,000 LT.

You've gotten my brain juices working, so on reflection I consulted my Accounts Payable Department and here's what I came up with:
Credit is rarely accepted and payment is expected in general (in cash) immediately after services rendered. Should credit be accepted, look out, she'll probably be moving in with you soon.
So.... It looks like at SOL I pay different every time, just about. They're happy what I give them, of course, and I only wish I had the time to visit each one I like so much, much more often than I do. I don't know how they are able to get me so horny just thinking about them. In the past 6 months I'm sure I've paid anything from 700 to 1500 in the bar or out for all kinds of services, from BJ to Sodomification. Wonderful how things just happen spontaneously sometimes. Reading the above I'd say Magi is a generous guy and I'm sure the girls appreciate him and his kindness very very much.

Biergarten7 or FL's on the roads (except Sanam Luang and Lumpini Park) have always asked 1000 for me ST but that was after conversation and meal. If she's a regular BG7er then it's all about Turnover for her too, and she's fine with 1000 as standard; if she's cute she'll pick up many of those each day............ All these scenes, I'll give an extra couple hundred often if service is good or wild, and it usually is. I'll often see the same girl at least a few times. I think it takes at least a couple f***s to understand how it is to be f***ing any one individual girl.
Hard to find girls anywhere as accomodating and good at BJ as they are at SOL though. Right now I'm rather into Lxn I guess and she's going to be getting some more of my money pretty soon for her treats.
