So I did part with the 900 Baht and was not happy about the experience... And yes, I have the arrogance to count myself among the more experienced lovers of BDSM on this forum and to think that I know what I am talking about.
Let me add that I returned to Barbar very recently. As we were discussing it, I felt I owed to the place to go back and give it another chance. Unfortunately, I did not see anything that would make me change my rather negative impression about the place. "going gang busters" you write ? Well on that particular night, customers appeared to be a rather scarce commodity, like the first time I visited the place...
There is one point I agree with you though: 900 Baht (or, really, even the 250 US$ for long sessions as some Bangkok dungeon ask) is "a small token in bdsm terms". Sadly, even at that low price, I consider that Barbar fails to deliver value for money.

Do you think copying and re-pasting your original review gives your original lies any more credibility? I don't believe you have ever visited BarBar whereas everyone (including the manager of BarBar) know that I have. Certainly, repeating the old post without any actual details doesn't give me any confidence in you whatsoever.
To all others reading here, I can only repeat what I've said before. If you are seriously into bdsm or even just curious, check it out for yourself. In that way, you can decide whether my review is overhyped or Lucky-FIB is merely malicious and seeking to damage a very good business.
Significantly the debate has now spread to another forum. I should copyright my original review

Submale is right in a way: I have said what I had to said about Barbar several times already and Submale is making this degenerating into personal attacks. I do not enjoy schoolyard type flamewars. So this will be my last post in this thread... I will let this wannabe shill post whatever blatant promotion of Barbar he sees fit. That he is devoid of any credibility should be obvious to all by now.
Oh, and I look forward to the result of his "IP test" proving that FIB and Lucky6666 are the same person. I doubt that submale has the means to do so but that's obviously something that BK can settle in a second... Well, another baseless accusation from submale down the drain...

Interesting to see you slip into Latin when you struggle with basic English grammar. There is a half-baked intellect at work there!
The judgement readers have to make is not whether you or I have greater moral credibility but rather whether BarBar is a worthwhile sm venue or not. I really wonder what frightens you so much about this bar. Anyway, I will also leave the school yard if you do. My review, supported by actual names and events, will have greater influence than your increasingly irrelevant personal attacks on my character.
Interestingly another forum, the white slave yahoo club has taken up the issue. So far the reviews of BarBar are all positive! As is the second review of Christophe on this thread.

This is not a game of points for and against. I have endeavoured to give an honest assessment of BarBar. Some others have arrived at a similar opinion of the bar. You and your old mate Lucky differ. Good for you.
Those who have not visited the bar can merely go to the website, look at the hot photos and dream sweet dreams. BarBar will succeed and the overwhelming majority of sm enthusiasts who visit this little street in Patpong will not leave disappointed.

What amazes me is your persistent view of the women at BarBar as bored as if somehow you have with your puny intellect the ability to see into someone else's subjective state. Have a look at the website photos - the girls are neither unattractive nor could you say with any confidence that they are bored. Your assertions are a classic case of projection and, quite frankly, it is difficult to see how you could not be bored in any situation in life because of your inherent limitations.
However, I'm probably wasting my time. You do not come across as a person with a great interest in the complexities of life nor as one interested in fairly evaluating the merits or otherwise of the bdsm lounge in question. BarBar caters to clients, not philosophers, and yes its in PatPong, we think thats good, BDSM is not all about how beautiful and old the domme or subject is. In any case, to amount more then two dozens of ladies each night under this theme is far from easy.
Bored and not trained?, maybe once they sense this hostile attitude they are.

No arum we have moved from Barbar bashing to Submale bashing. But the one who is belittling submale in his every post is submale himself. He psotures and lecures from his soapbox, then pronounces himself above it all.
I only started with a post of my experience at Barbar. Which I wont repeeat. Submale has transformed that into a presonal attack on the integrity and inteleect of me and anyone else who has a differing view.
