as you say. Mind you because I have had a stress problem of late(to paraphrase Cary Grant -two ex-wives,two kids and seven bartenders to keep!) The docs have put me on medication that has played havoc with my health and memory. Dangerous drugs or what ??

Hollis? hhhmmmm the finger was publically pointed by the British Journalist Chapman Pincher. He also hinted that Prime Minister Wilson was also part of the 'opposition' of die Rote Kapelle! Rothschild was at the same university at the same time rubbing shoulders with the 'Apostles' he may have been the fifth man? I never know if Pincher is being paranoid or accurate.

Ah, Sidney Reiley, now there was an asset.
Great book about him "Ace of Spies" by one Lockhardt, nephew of the Bruce Lockhardt who was lynchpin of the "Lockhardt Affair" every Soviet schoolchild was/is taught about. Reiley was cryptonym of a Russian Jew who was "Six"'s star operative for many years before and after WW One. Instrumental in founding of British Petroleum (by secretly mapping oil deposits at Baku). Helped the Japanese Navy through the Russian minefields at Port Arthur and sink the Russian fleet. Helped Blohm&Voss (Hamburg) win the contract to replace the fleet -- against Vickers! as represented by Sir Basil Zaharoff, the Anglo-Levantine "Merchant of Death" -- so he himself, Reiley, could steal the blueprints from B&V while posing as a night watchman at the shipyards. Thus giving the Royal Navy critical secrets about the construction of the Imperial German Navy's capitol ships, such as armor details and location of magazines etc -- intelligence that helped the RN win the naval side of WWI. Brilliant work!
Almost toppled the Bolsheviks in the earlies days of the Revolution by suborning the (Finnish) Kremlin Guards. Arch enemy of Iron Feliks Dzerzhinsky, Polish chief of the Cheka -- Lenin's secret service and forerunner of the KGB. Eventually after many twists and turns involving the S-Rs, the Arckangelskaya invasion, the assassination of Lenin -- Reilley fell victim of The Trust, the massive disinformation operation that crushed most anti-Bolshevik organizations and operatives in and out of the USSR.

It is thought that, after his capture by the "Trust" Reilley's lengthy interrogation by "Iron Feliks" gave the Bolshies much valuable insight into British Intelligence and British society in general, which was directly of use to them in the Cambridge recruitments (Philby, Burgess, et al) and thus was still bearing rich fruit 30-40 years later.
