I was going down today, but didn't make it. Now it looks like it will never be the same.
Gentlemen, if this open fronted bar business is true, then this is the end of an epoch. There is no place I've seen with SOL's atmosphere etc. I am truly saddened by this news.
Baskoy, do you mind me asking how you came by this dreadful news?

This news saddens me. Visiting SOL was norlamy the highlight of my holidays there. Its truely an end of an era.
I can only hope that this is disinformation. No offence Baskboy, but I hope you're wrong mate.
I'm even more gutted because I was planning a trip in october.
With Star of Love also gone- made into the Linda bar
(which I dont know anything about), where else is there?
Lolitas- not the same class
Kangeroo bar- Havent tried this bar in ages, didnt think much of it when I did
Any hidden gems out there that could be potential SOL?

Maybe someone could refurbish the Rose? It certainly has the sleeze, but not the talent.

Yeah, the Rose is the only thing that nears it in the sleeze factor---but talent and attitude weren't up to SOL standard at all. Girls at Kangaroo are more talented, but...

I think I still have Eid's number; maybe I'll give her a ring and see if she can tell me what's going on there since she's been there awhile.
carlbreen, somewhere in this forum is a bit about Star of Love and Linda. I tried it once (six months ago) after the change and didn't get much out of it, however the management was nice. I talked to the manager, forget her name now. She said she didn't want Linda's to be known as a Bj bar. However it has a backroom and some of the girls came over from SOLOVE. They are OK, and in fact there's a talent or two among them, but the new girls were not properly trained to Bj Bar standards at that time.
Well, at SOL as long most of the girls remain, then there's got to be a way for them to sleaze up the new place!!! Human nature doesn't allow chains and bars once it's run so free.
