I didn't get suckered as I am not a newbie, I was there to investigate. I just thought that it was worth noting here for others to read. All in I spent 600 baht. Now I know that I don't want to return although I might hae a go once more to validate my experience. I have been to SOL about 50 or more times and I do agree the bar has been set quite high...just looking for an alternative closer to home. I think that it could be a good alternative but the rushing and stopping is not a good selling point.

Wild country was visited again earlier this week, and again it delivered against expectations...
they don't rip me off (but I count the drinks), and as long as you give em a couple of drinks they seem happy to suck away nicely. I usually tip at the end.
the talent is low quality; no lookers at all.... but the place is for me, just a sleazy hole in the back streets. Nice chat, no silly fees, and girls who know how to give a BJ. No issues on BBBJ either. I know SOL is probably a better place, but its not always convenient. A quality blow before settign out for the night? A real sleazy place where you feel totally at home getting blown in the bar? Its just got something for me....

Hi,
I was there some time ago too and have changed my opinion:
* The place is very dead especially after 8PM, not much talent either !
* They asked me how much I could spend so they could estimate how much I could 'spend'
* I said 2 girls is enough (of 5 that sat with me) and then 1 girl (mamasan type) said they charge 30 baht (yes 30 baht) for a towel to wipe my willy.
That did it for me, call me a cheap charly but I don't like all this bullshitting, they won't see me again there !
B4 anybody starts jeriking abt 30 baht etc, I live in bkk for quite some time now and would like to have a few easy going places to relax but this place will not be in my top-10 (or my top 100 or top 1000 lol)

The reason all these places stay in business is because something about each one resonates with a bunch of us. I have been a big fan of WC in the past because I liked the atmosphere, the slow pace, the few customers. It has worn off for me now but I find myself drawn to other sleazy venues. Glad you like it and are having fun. When it is no longer right for you, move on. In the meantime it doesn't matter what others think, does it?
