I have used SOL a number of times but have not been back during my last two visits to BKK.
Having read the latest reports I think I will be back in March. I want to test my powers of exhibitionism to see if they match up to yours, for example.
The last time I was there I used the bathroom and had my beauty stripped and on her knees while a second girl stood and watched while a third took a pee no more than 3 feet away! (see the diagram if you have never been to the bar). For me that was exhibitionism but I don't know if I could do full service in the bar if it was busy, I'll find out if I have the balls for it

It's not really next door. You have to back-track up towards Silom a few yards and it is down a short alleyway ( 30 feet) right beside Foodland.
The blow is 800 baht, or was. Usually some younger girls than Sol but of course not as experienced and not in the bar since the door is kept open. They have rooms.............

By all accounts there are on the internet and in bar conversations recently, nod and a wink rumours and more than one clearly written implication by those "in the know" that the Star of Light is going to be sold off or merged or taken over, each with dire consequences to its unique nature and service.
May I, while I finish off my last Jack Daniels of the evening, scotch these untruths once and for all.
These rumours, nay, lies surface every now and then quite regularly, presumably spawned by guys who want to be known by their companions has having more insider knowledge than the rest of us poor sods.
The reasons for this felt need to spread this shit are beyond me, but I'm sure you could all suggest a theory or two of your own as to why some people do this about many things in all walks of life.
So, let me reassure you that the Star of Light is not going to be sold off to an ex-prime minister or the sultan of somewhere or anybody else. Word has it that they wouldn't have enough money to buy this little gold-mine and the good-will that it has built up over the years.
And I doubt whether the BIB would be enthusiastic over seeing it pass to anyone new who might not be as compliant as the present owner.
Neither is it merging nor being taken over nor altering its modus operandi.
The owner/manageress, with her present connections is quite happy to remain in place and to continue operating the bar and its provisions in the same accomodating manner that all good connoisseurs of the fine and delicate art of fellatio have come (?) to appreciate time and time again over these many, many years.
So, as you were.

But to be fair Joe, how do you actually know what is going to happen? Who'd have thought Eden would have been sold?
It surely can't be the earner it used to be. The last 3 or 4 times I've been in, I've been the only customer. Compare that to a few years ago when at times you had to wait for a seat and it was 2 to a sofa.
Maybe the owners decided that its time to cash in and put her feet up somewhere.

Ok, more seriously, Sold or not, Sad or not, there are always hundreds of places where a man can get his rocks off in LOS... and I am sure the guys in the know will make it known where these girls will move to... so no real loss to anyone
