I think oldhand's handle says it all.
He hasn't been here as long as I have (quite) and I dare not call myself an old hand after merely 15 years or the real Old Hands will take me to task for it.
MrJoe has been here at least a dozen years longer than I have, which is about 2X what "oldhand" has racked up. Does he style himself as an Old Hand?
Longevity of stay is one thing.
What one has done with his time here is another.
I wonder what "oldhand" has to show for his 13-14 years here? He hasn't said. Anyone know? Anyone care? If not then it must not amount to a hill of shit, I'd venture.

Saroun, just got back from a hard
days work in the dungeon?
My time here has been spent in gainful
employment away from running bars,
massage parlours, sex/entertainment
business, moonshine plants and other
industries the domain of many Expats
in this Country
I have done very well and can afford all that
life has and will offer in my remaing years,
have many Thai/Foreign friends and associates
some you would know but they not you,
never been a name dropper though.
On a needs to know basis thats all you
need to know.
