I tried to find it just because you guys said it was so scurrilous. However I didn't see the sign so skipped it. I thought it would have been fun just to check it out but alas I can't say I saw it yet...I did accidently stumble upon Lolitas the other night...yeecks that was a dodgy worn out taco stand. People were nice but it looked like the last chance gas on the long goodnight. I suppose that the magic is in the speciality but SOL seems the better choice except for the jog across town. The massage place just across the alley was a "classy" touch too, keee-rist...
Ah well I'll check out Wild Country tomorrow just to say I been there done that. I have to say that Washington Square looks really bad though. It's like the place is returning to dirt. Truly the place made me think about one of those weird Japanese Hell Girl Anime' episodes. You may know, the one where that Japanese Anime' artist lives in a condo in a nearly abandoned area of a city waiting for the end. That is what Washington Square reminded me of, erie and sad, sorry no offense. I do like Honey House and Larry's though.
Also Nana looks sketchier than it did a couple of years back. Back then I would have said the place looked like a back drop from the New York scenes from Heavy Metal the movie. But I suppose it still had more miles left than I'd thought. Maybe it's me that is getting old...I dunno Bangkok never loses its appeal but the vibe is more subdued than I've seen in years. I like to think it's the economic cycle and not that I am an adult that's maturing in anyway.

Wild Country is not so obvious to find as it is in the second side soi on the left after entering from Soi 22.
There is an excellent rundown of Washington Square, including directions, in the main bar forum under the heading "Taffy's". Well worth a read.
I popped into WC just as Torq said, to see if it's what people say it is. It is. Sleazy, old, decrepit, dirty, and good fun. I was there about two weeks ago, just after 6pm. Only customer. Five "ladies" present and all wanted to take part in the fun. I checked out the deal, ladies drinks $60 each. Small tip at the end. So, five pairs of hands all over me tadger and other bits for about an hour of teasing and eventual happy ending in a corner booth. With my beers, total cost about 1,000 baht.

After reading all these reports about WC, I decided to check it out during my one day visit (on transit) a few weeks back. Did find the place after a bit of searching, only to find it closed. Guess I was too early. It will just have to wait till my next visit (coming up soon), which I hope wont be so short.
In the meanwhile, any updates on the action in this bar - sleaze factor, girls, prices, timings? Its been almost a year since the last post.

Forget this place!
I went in there about 3 days ago at 7-8pm.
Once I entered 2-3, in my eyes, old and not very good looking woman approached me and start to touch me.
Suddenly a young and good looking one joined them, touching my private parts.
When I turned around she was gone. Going back to sleep on the chairs!
Unfortunately she did not wake up until I left.
The bar itself looks like a museum. Nothing changed since the 80`s.
They played some country music, not to loud, so quit comfortable.
Then I asked the lady behind the counter why it is very quite in there.
She pointed to some picture on the wall with some older farangs on them.
She explained that 3 man from the picture died already and two other ones moved back to their home countrys.
All in all it was a very disappointing but also interesting adventure.

The stitches have come off my wound and I decided to give this place a try. Went at about 3PM, and I was the only customer. Saw about 6 or 7 ladies of which 3 attacked me. Hi Meatywsg, 10 whiskys at 60 each = 600, 1 beer = 100 (I think) and 500 as tip. I got head from both but shagged only one, so dont know how they split the tip.
Unfortunately the thin ones tits were thin as well, I mean very small... It was the other one, San, who had nice boobs. So I had to make use of the lower half of the thin one and the upper half of the booby one.
