What you said sounded pretty accurate to me:

Check. The quality of girls has dropped since say, a year ago. It's indisputable. 4 cute ones have left together with another 2 or 3 youngish/slimmish/reasonable-looking ones and they haven't been replaced in kind. The replacements are much older and fatter. (Yes, Kae may be there now but she was there last year too. Before she was just one of many doables...)
2. "it's so dirty up there now......there was an awful smell..."
Check. Even the girls would say that, jroirqbkk! Try asking them. The place isn't cleaned. The filth is one of their gripes.
You said two fair things there, I thought. Some might say a bj bar doesn't need reasonable-looking girls or to be clean inside and they've got a separate point (each to his own and all that)...but I don't think anyone could dispute what you said.

Cant figure how this shithole is still open the way they treat customers...mamasan (boss wife!) is the most unpleasant/rude women I ever met, the place was allready dirty 5 years ago when I decided never to return (probably they never bothered to clean it...ever), and if all the semi-good looking girls are gone and have been replaced by old fat ones....well...i just cant understand what is the appeal of the place...its not like blowjobs are a rarity in Bangkok

Did I get the name of the bj place next to Foodland wrong, DrLove? It used to be Lolita's Patpong for a short time but closed because it wasn't bringing in enough to cover the rent (which I heard was astronomical compared to the location in Soi 8).
I've only ever been in there briefly and walked straight out but I thought it was called Mike's something. And it had a farang owner/manager.

regarding some of the "stank", it may be caused by a number of recent floods from broken pipes and clogged drains during heavy rains. Leaves a rather stuffy rancid smell. The place was a mess for several days and they were mopping water for 2 days a few months back.
mamasan is the biggest of the big ones -sometimes out front, sometimes behind the counter.
For BT 700, it is what it is... a BJ place that is very cheap and quick if that's what you like.

Well, you know the saying... "**** 'em if they can't take a joke" and "joke 'em if they can't take a ****". If you took my comments personally, then maybe there is a problem? haha It has been my experience here on this forum that, when somebody posts on a certain bar's thread and puts down that bar to the extent it was and then declares..." I will never go there again!", they usually work for a competing bar or got pissed off at somebody at that bar or something along those lines, malcontents.
Though not always strong, there are always certain smells in places that have hundreds of bare asses a week sitting in them and sexual activities being preformed everyday in them. And lets not forget, it isn't the cleanest city in the world. I also don't understand the thought process of going to a place over and over and over again, then one time it is bad so you declare, never again! Now, if it had been bad from the start or became progressively worse, no problem, I would say the same.
One thing that I have done for Kae, since I prefer her, was to bring a curious gift to her. This was for myself as well as her to make my experience and maybe for a few others, better. A little gift bag with antibacterial wipes, Listerine, tooth brushes w/paste, soaps and a nice perfume. (all costing as much as a visit there) Made it look nice so as not offend and explained how those wipes actually killed germs as does the Listerine. haha And no, not attached to her, just when I go to a place, I like to have what I like to have. It also may make it a little cleaner and maybe smell better. Also like to reward for a job well done and for going above and beyond the call of a normal bar girl. hehe Maybe this is why I get fantastic BBBJs from her??? Have done the same for the girls at a couple other places I enjoy. (bribes? hehe)
With the economy and the way business is here, I am not able to make the trip there again anytime soon to verify and to re-experience the experience that is Bangkok. So I live vicariously through those who have, hoping I will get factual and honest commentary.
Just let it be what it is, in my trips there I never expected anything like "The best little whorehouse in Texas" or even close to it. Basically it is still a third world country that has spruced-up the place, though it does have a long and exotic past. If you want hi-end or hi-class girls and bars then you will have to go to other bars and clubs there and pay a lot more. I saw some places on Ratchadapisek where you can give them 5000baht for a short time room (plus tip) but the club was "super clean" and the girls had nice shiny dresses on. hahaha
That's My two cents worth. haha
