Anyway, we now have 6 confirmed. To be viable under the original terms requested by the "victim" and her Master, we need only 2-4 more to either confirm or just to show up, and with 6+ days to go that ought to be an easy goal to reach.
I'm not complaining about those who can't make it, who earlier thought they could. Shit happens. I AM complaining about those who can't be bothered to just say Y or N. This isn't a tricky ethical dilemna, this is Emily Post stuff. As in RSVP Respondez s'ils vous plait. (Apologies if I fractured the francais.)
As RTB demonstrated the Messenger function seems to be working, and anyway about half of my notices were sent out by email.
Thanks MrJoe and Kris for your kind words. No way this is going to be cancelled.
I actually expected about 50% of the 20 to fall by the wayside, the party is perfectly viable at 10. In the event I may be proven right, or even, too optimistic by a little. BUT that is not my complaint. SILENCE is what I am knetching about.
