I highly recommend this fine institution. It's wild, way more wild than anything on Cowboy at the moment.
It's basically an anything-goes place; the code word is "play pool," meaning you take the girl of your choice upstairs and f*** her on the pool table. Alternately, you can--if you're really nice to the ladyboy bartender and keep her fed with drinks--f*** your girl right at the bar downstairs.
Lady drinks are quite reasonable too. Not sure how much, but on one night last month I bought two drinks each for the two girls I would eventually take home (on a return trip later that night), several beers for myself, and a couple for the aforementioned ladyboy bartender, and the total bill was 900 baht...surely we would've been talking 2,000 or so in Afterskool, haha.
For most girls in there, condom optional...which may be either a deal-sealer or deal-breaker, depending on your perspective, haha. Note: lots of the girls have Thai hubbies, so many will not go LT (even though they will claim to do so to get you to pay their bar...). We don't want any black eyes next time we walk in the bar, now, boys!

This is the bar almost directly across from the Jasmine Executive Suites on Soi 23?
If so, I visited this place a couple times after mid-night 2 years ago. Then it had no girls higher than a 5 in looks. Can't remember drink prices but they weren't real expensive. Places change quickly in the LOS, so maybe the quality is better now. I do seem to remember the ladyboy there.
BTW, LD prices in Afterskool are 90bt, except for tequila which is 120bt. So you'd have to buy quite a number of drinks to add up to 2,000bt. Then again, there are a lot of drink-pushy girls in Afterskool, so it wouldn't be hard to spend 2,000bt if you are "handsum man".

And BEWARE as the girls will ask you for drink, and then you realise the LD is 210thb because the little girls ordered a coke on top of the Tequila. They always try to pull this one... your drinks becomes 2 drinks.

It is true, the main scam in Afterskool is the whiskey/tequila AND coke gambit that results in two drinks for one and, obviously, more drink chits for them, and a higher tab for us. But it is very easily resolved by politely saying, "Tequila only, no coke." Sometimes you have to repeat yourself, but it is just as effective.
They have almost, but not quite, given up trying to make me buy coke too. I want only to taste tequila on their tongues. And, of course, the tequila gets them loose and fun, so I can play with them. In this respect, the dynamic is no different than a straight date. With enough tequila, they are sucking each other's tits along with me.
So, it's simple. Just say no. "No," means no rip-off. No oversized bill. Just a wet finger and a corner smile. 
By the way, I never realized (experienced) it anywhere else. RTB, are you saying it happens at other SC venues? Not Tilac or Baccara or Long Gun as far as I know.

Remember, if you don't say "no", they will think you are sucker and just keep pushing as far as they can go. You have to establish the boundaries. Same goes for the number of girls you want entertaining you. Up to you. Sometimes I just want one, sometimes I want a few. But remember, once you have a girl on your tab, it is very hard to get her off your tab, unless one of her regulars steals her away with your approval or she get bar fined (which is relatively rare in Afterskool). I would be happy to buy more girls there "one round", except it is so difficult to buy just one round.

Haha, trust me, I can do it, and often do! And they don't pull the "tequila and coke chaser" scam on me, they know better...we're talkin' straight tequilas. They're my buddies in there (Afterskool), though, I love 'em. And for every hour I sit in there I usually get a free beer from the girls as well.

I also barfined 9 of my Afterskool homegirls for my birthday party (at another bar) last year, and will do it again this year. A great crowd to party with.
It's also the place I always head for when I've been out too long and feel like I'm getting a little too drunk and out of it, I know they'll always take care of me in there. I don't do any of the "naughty corner" stuff, btw, and have only taken a few girls out of there over the years (for purposes other than drinking)...best to not shit where you eat!

Interestingly, Vox, I too find that Afterskool is one of the places I have to visit when I am in town, repeatedly, and yet I have never bar fined a girl there, and only been to the corner a few times over the years.
Somehow it has always seemed easier, since I like to play with them in the bar, to just leave it at that. I love getting drunk and getting them drunk in the bar and seeing where it leads. There is a comfort level that I have there with all the girls (who are still there) that I don't want to risk disturbing. But of course, that could all change, depending on who the new girls are that I have heard about.
