Hi all
Last time i was in bkk,went through patpong.I never saw any of the sex shows. Thanks to this forum i was advised to be careful. Is it worth seeing one of these shows????
If so, does anyone recommend a good place where the show is good, girls are nice and where im not going to get ripped off.
I have also heard that there are many lady boys in patpong?? Is this true.Im not keen on them at all.

shows you will get in queens castle upstairs above camelot or in firecat, the rest of the places are rip-offs! Ladyboys you ill mainly find in king's corner and king castle 3. so just stay away from them. if you fancy shows you can also go to hollywood 2nd floor (3rd floor for you americans) in nana or also in soi cowboy in long gun. nevertheless since the moral cleanup from the interior minister things will not be the same as they used to be about a year ago (less flesh to be seen!)

When you are upstairs; make sure you KNOW how much the drinks cost before you order!! Check your bill each time you order drinks. If their is any hassle; DON'T argue, just tell the manager you will go to the Tourist Police to complain. Their is a Tourist Police van stationed at Patpong. Bars don't want to deal with the Tourist Police. I've been to Patpong many times with no hassle at all. Check out the Kangaroo Bar. This is a bj bar the girls are very friendly. Not a rip-off joint. Ask for Pen, tell her Denny sent you.

I was in Bangkok about 2 weeks ago. You have recommended PEN from Kangaroo Bar. I was there and asked for her. Mamasan said that she went back to her hometown and will be back in XXX days' time. I went there again the next few days after she was supposed to be back at work but each time mamasan said that she isn't back yet. Finally after so many days of going there mamasan told me that PEN has left the bar and got married and is in Cambodia now. I don't know whether to believe her.

Thanks for the heads up on Pen. She is a nice women. I wish her all the best. Out of all the girls I've been with in Thailand, she stands head and shoulders above the rest. I'm comming back to BKK 22 July. I will check with mamasan to see what's going on. Their are two other nice girls at the Kangaroo Bar that I will enjoy getting to know. Thanks once again for the heads up.

BigD, i take it when you said to becareful when you go upstairs and watch the drinks bill, that you are referring to Queens castle???? Is it a place really worth going???
If not,I would rather avoid the problem.

I wa speaking about the shows in general terms. From what I've read the Kings group of bars are more than ok. Thanks for stopping in the Kangaroo bar. Tell the girls Denny will be back the end of July. Book one night on this website Planet Holiday has a good rep. Good bargins can be had by going to the different hotels and asking to speak to the manager. Should be able to get 20 to 30% off lowest price on web.
