So. I visit twice a year on average. Past couple of years everything as far as soi 12 seems to be overrun with djellaba wearing fat fax with their fat fac wife's.
I'm lazy. I know BKK reasonably well, but it's a place I've always hit for R&R on my way elsewhere with a stop again on the way home.
So my question is, where can I now drink without being surrounded by Middle easterners with huge moustaches, or the men for that matter?

LarryO thats funny a few weeks ago sitting in Suzi Wong (CB) enjoying the girl on girl show when in walks some Middle easterners men (Maybe they were Indian it was dark?) with wives they made the wives sit away from them as they made a commotion getting settled. I was struck how ugly the women were (the wives) as they had faces like bulldogs chewing wasps. It quite put me off the lesbo show why would they take them to such a place? I moved on just because I did not want to look at such ugly fukin women.

I guess the guys being promised 72 virgins must feel they have a better deal.

Good luck!, Nep has changed dramatically in 2 years. There used to be an unwritten code of who got in, that is obviously shot< welcome all comers this year. I count 9 bars that have Ladyboys working now, Some are squeezing them in with just a couple, some have post ops working. Bars have lost so much business, they have to take any customer that walks in.

No wonder they are "loosing business", beer at 170 baht, staff who abuse customers (shaking your beer bottle every 2mn to see if its empty yet, DEMANDING TIP for nothing, taking forever to bring you your drinks, getting orders wrong, serving warm or iced beer, being generally rude and not seing the problem standing right in front of you so that you simply cant see the stage...the list goes on and on...) then the girls asking for 2K ST minimum or 4K LT and more often than not being useless starfish...
Frankly I cant see why people still go there...good luck to the bars with their Indian/Arab customers

Years ago Lucky Lukes, a corner beer bar stationed right side at the entrance to Nana had a sign clearly positioned stating " No Arab Sit here - no drink too much, abuse everybody, disrespect the girls etc..." and finished with the classic "We respect the Muslim religion even if you dont"!!
