I was in biergarden yesterday, my impression is that quality as gone a bit downhill and that attitude of the girls as gone a LOT downhill....

Beer bars are a dying breed in Bangkok.
Soi 1, Soi 10, Asoke Plaza... they are gone. All what is left is the bar beer area at Soi 22.... very quiet though.
Can't quite agree that the quality has gone down.... it rapidly changes.. every night it's different. Even the clientèles are different....
Attitude has changed over the time.... they now go for the 'kill' more quickly instead of spending countless wasteful hours chatting with guys.... Who can blame them?

My limited experience in the beirgarten showed large differecials in quality depending on the time of the month ( no not about red-flags).
Toward the end of the month,, say 25th onwards,, after 7pm you are FAR more likely to get a "jewel".
Yes, Mall cashiers etc etc,, bills to pay,, short on cash and no pay until end of month. They can't exactly just show up at Rainbow 4 and dance  ,, many choose the Beirgarten.
Please remeber most of these Gals are not seasoned professionals,, so take it easy, be extra nice and enjoy.

I can only fully endorse the expressed sentiment.
However, I would add that there are girls, although few in number, who have 'loose' ( ? ) arrangements with some of the Go-Go bars in all three main areas, where they can turn up on nights when they want to and at times when it is convenient to them, to dance and this includes Rainbow 4.
But I admit that the vast majority of girls have far tighter conditions and requirments put upon them for the privilege of working there.

Who can blame them?>>>>I dont blame them for this, but some are now clearly thinking their bum is made of gold and are not shy to make you feel they do you a favor when speaking to you, those are not a majority yet, still some fun girls to be found amongst the lot>
One of them asked me 100 baht for the kiss I gave her on the hand, I told her no, the kiss was a present from me and was free

I never chimed in on this site, but I enjoyed the last two posters.
I go to the Biergarten all the time--but I never paid attention to the time of the month idea. I will have to consider that and make a trip at the end of the month sometime.
Ironically I was at Thermae last night and one English chap commented on how few women were there on a Friday. Maybe it was because it was the beginning of the month.
One other thing I enjoy about the Biergarten is getting to know the talent over the years. There are more ladies that I have known there for many years (some over 7), and they always seem to be nice and chatty.
I have also watched at least three gals over play there hand at the Biergarten. Many of them, when they are young--get so addicted to their ability to lure and short time customers that they don't pay attention to the road wear it gives them.
One gal used to sit at the first table on the right years ago and she was monster hot in an amazon woman kind of way. She used to short time and long time who she wanted to, when she wanted to. But she tended to choose a hard party lot of customers. Five years later, I almost did not recognize her--and watching her stand all night at Thermae without nary a look from a paying man was the last image I had of her.
There is another gal on this trip that I have watched over the years. She was prolific--I just cannot remember her name. I tend to sit in the Biergarten off and on all day--and this gal used to short time an average of three customers a day. And she could nab a man within minutes of entering the garten--really amazing to watch. She'd grab one customer at noon, return for the second at 5-7PM. Then she would grab her last out of Nana at night. Sometimes she could get 3-5 from the Biergarten before 5PM. She had a way of seeing who would go with her and knowing how to approach them. Amazing people reading skills. Sad to say that on this trip I watched her work the Biergarten from noon to night and transfer to outside Nana till 5AM without any evidence of a customer. Her people skills are still good--she has just been ridden hard.
But then so have I. Who knows what they see when I walk in the gate? A fat, bald guy who only drinks and talks is probably what they see.
