Ironically I was at Thermae last night and one English chap commented on how few women were there on a Friday.
Well, I was there at 2am.. and the girls couldn't line up properly at the left hand side... so many of them.

I'd like clear something up right now.
"Ridden hard"
It's not the amount of sex, no matter with how many partners, that makes people look old or hard or used up or weary. If anything, a great amount of sex would make man or woman look younger and healthier.
What causes those looks in people are long hours at work, sleepless nights, worrying about how to manipulate others, ignoring your own feelings, emotional desperation of a certain kind, excessive worrying about money or in general, excessive drinking, bad dietary habits, especially with no exercise, etc.
ely1959, I always like your posts. But please pardon me: I thought it necessary to point out that sex is neither evil nor spiritually destroying in itself, that "ridden hard", causing weary and hardened looks, does not have to do with it particularly, but with other habits or mental attitudes that may go along with her job, which involves frequent seduction of and sex with strangers.
I had to point this out because there are far too many men, in my opinion, who like to think of their virility as conquerors who can ride a girl hard, thus destroying her looks if she got too much of this sweet poison, thus ultimately viewing these women as casualties of their virility and so deprecating them based on myth.

I totally agree with the point that seajohn has made and if you think about it, it is true.
Also, going into the Beirgarten, Thermae and other establishments, one can see many overseas visitors who look old or hardened or used up or weary and generally washed out. But that's another story about not getting enough.

All good points made about substance abuse and intense consistent dissatisfaction producing lines in one's face. Reminds me of an old song by Leonard Cohen, where he is looking for such a woman... looking for experience... Ah, yes, I think the song was called, "Lady Midnight"; it was a very lovely and romantic tune somehow. He won her in the end. End of the song, I mean.
