The area on the opposite side of the Bang Na Trat Highway to Bangkok is Samut Prakarn Province. There are two main roads which go from Bangkok to Samut Prakarn. The first is Sukhumvit Road and the second is Sri Nakharin. They are parrallel to each other and about 3km apart when they cross Bang Na Trat.
Samrong is centred around the Sukhumvit Road near Soi 111, but stretches from the river to Sri Nakharin.
There are plenty of large bars/discos/pubs on either side of Sri Nakharin Road. Some will have professionals looking to service customers and some will be where girls go to have fun. A foreigner who hits on those girls is likely to incur the wrath of Thai males unless he's discreet.
I don't know about the other services on offer in that area, but have noticed the lights.
I've never gone down SUkhumvit late enough to know what's on offer, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a bar or two.
On the Bangkok side of Sukhumvit, just before the Bang Na intersection is a place called Uncle Drunk which is open till at least 4am. There's a disco upstairs and bar/restaurant downstairs. Beware that many of the customers are factory workers letting off steam.
Nearby Udomsuk (Sukhumvit 103) has plenty of bars - some quite high quality. There are hostesses in a few as well as freelancers.
Sometimes foreigners forget that the sex industry they are familiar with is just the tip of the iceberg - perhaps 1% of the business caters to them. That leaves an awful lot of bars, discos and massage parlours - plus brothels - waiting to be discovered outside the tourist zones.

Indeed. But it's also somewhat a requisite to go into the other 99% of the scene with at least a basic level of language fluency.
Without that, a dash of discretion, and a smidgen of humility those factory blokes could turn a field trip into a fiasco pronto.

It's been years since I've been down wandering around over there, but I remember you are right. I didn't know if those places were still there. I recall near Suk 103 and 101/1 I think there interesting massage places too.
This was about 7yrs back, before the skytrain and all that, and going out there felt farther than it does now. I'll pay a visit some time.

Adding to that, the Thepperak road, (one of many that join Sukhumvit to Srinakarin AFTER Bangna Trad) is covered in lady houses, Disco's and Thai MP's, but what I have found, despite my frequent visits to the area, and enough Thai to comfortably get by, is the prices are as high if not higher than what most would term standard for the Nana area. The house price for a 2hr MP is cheaper, usually around 2-400 baht, but the 'tip' is strangely in sync with the likes of Tulip and the like, and i've tried negotiating and it gets nothing but a smile. I have no doubt that Thais are not paying this, but if you as a farrang want to partake, it appears the girls have a farrang tip scale and don;t budge. I guess if they wanted P4P with farrangs, they would work in a farrang area !

Always on the look out for something fun in this part of town and finally found something that scratches the itch at a reasonable price.
I drove down Srinakarin, heading out of town, over Bangna Trad, past Makro, and carrefour, past foodland, and then, just before the new Theperak flyover, I swirled around to the left and stopped. There is a bar called Bee+ I think, parked up and entered. Hostesses in lovely short tight denim shorts, small dark bar, big screen and some booths for the karaoke lovers. There was actually a Brit guy sat at the bar, he'd only been in Bangkok 3 weeks and he'd found this place ! He seemed a nice guy, but I was with another freind, so we sat. The costs were this;
BF + 3hrs with the girl, including all sexual services was 1,500 baht, you had to pay for your room, there is a huge ST hotel within walking distance.
Girl to sit was 140 baht per 40 minutes and you had to buy her a drink also.
Drinks were steep. We had a lg Heineken, and a lg Singha, 2 compulsory face towels and the bill was 590 baht !!!
Some cuties in there, but also some hardened pros, apparently they do a coyote show on the hour every hour, they close 2am sharp.
We moved on as the night was young, promising to return, but never made it back. Have fun.
