That's what it's all about really. If you have at least basic conversational skills and are average or better looking it's easy as hell to pickup for freebies. The problem is if you suck at learning foreign languages like I do then it's harder but still not impossible. It just takes much more work and people skills. Plus it's guaranteed you will look like a fool at least a few times.

If I could speak thai I could have taken two of them (five), but I am too busy working in my country and studying various certifications for my career.
Next year, I will spare my time for studying Thai.
