Does anybody know anything about the scene at the roundabout near the railway-station ?
Last I checked out was a little dead as it was 4 AM I think. The driver told me though that earlier in the evening the place is packed with girls.

I wish I could assist, KAKUKA. Last time I was there in the evening, I was just at ID4 or some other karaoke massage round there... There are quite a few.
Easy to spot.
But it sounds like you're talking about streetwalkers, around the circle--is that right? I'd like to know too.

Talking about the circle yes. Any experience with the karaoke places in the area ? Hows the standard ?
A taxidriver yesterday warned me about the "circle - girls" being a farang. He said that its risky as you might get followed by not so nice motocike guys after picking up a girl.
But then it would be risky many places !!

Not enough experience around there to really post about. Hopefully some other poster might.
There may be something in one of the old threads.
However, the places around there look like the normal Thai kinds of places with girls to sit with you and you buy them drinks, and if they like you, you invite them somewhere later.
Of course they are quite a few massage places not far from there. Just try Charoen Sanitwong road (or Rachada, as it's also called over there) from the Bangkok Bridge all the way up to Pinglao... You'll pass a million places.
