JW is a nice place
Have stayed there several times
However I like the location of Amari better
Personal prefference
I like the fact that I can snag from Gullivers, Beer Garden, The Alley (to the BG), Foodland, just a few steps away, and the walk to NEP from Amari and JW are about the same
Also, for me, I like the breakfast at Amari better
Solution:
Book a week at both and let us know what you think

i book amari thru my travel agent
JW, sometimes with marriot direct, sometimes with agent
marriott has some "price protection" deal
when I book, I dont pay too much attention to small differences in price, I would rather the agent or marriot guarentee my trip
i personally have not had much luck with the online booking deals
i like to call and confirm
if anyone wants my agents name in the usa
he is a conslolidatator and gets good prices on Thai air and alot of hotels...pm me
i think he can book anyone to anywhere

i see on there price list that there are a big differnt on superior and deluxe, so it is worth it to take a deluxe room over a superior

i pay @ $90 usd per nite for a double inc breakfast for 2
i get this price even when I walk in
(but remember I have stayed there a bunch)

Shop around online for sure. There are big savings to be made over their rack rate or walk in rate.
I make my own reservations direct and ASK for the rate from my last stay, this has always worked so far.
