I stayed at this city loodge 19 lately and find it perfect. Staff friendly and well trained. Guest friednly and no charge to bring your gal back to your room. Safe in room and just totally renovated. Top location at 1 meters from sky train and subway.
Best deal I could get was on http://www.amari.com Would definitely come there again

I booked City Lodge Soi 19 for Songkran this year. It's very close to both the BTS and MRT (not to mention Soi Cowboy) so I can go shopping at the malls, and hit the massage parlors, without getting doused. Paid 1950, and rooms are larger than City Lodge Soi 9. Breakfast is included at the adjacent restaurant, but only the continental breakfast. You have to pay 50 baht extra for bacon and eggs. They have an in-room safe, but have to swipe it with a credit card, so much for hidden charges. In-room internet costs 589 baht for 24 hours. Dragged my computer here for nothing, I'm not paying that price when I can walk over to Times Square in 3 minutes.

I can get it on HRS for about 1000 without BKFT, good deal, and close to Tilac.

What is HRS? I booked for tomorrow night for 1200, also stayed there last weekend for 1200. Rooms are the same as they've been for the past 2 years.

Thanks for the tip Gus. I booked City Lodge for another weekend later this month on hrs.com for just $33 USD, the lowest price I've ever paid by 25%
When I went to check-in last weekend, they were overbooked. So they gave me a room at Amari Boulevard with no additional charge. (Amari manages City Lodge)
They even paid for my taxi and, more importantly, waived the 1000 baht joiner fee. This was the second time this happened to me.

I have just booked CL19 with HRS, it was an offer that I couldn't refuse.
878 baht per night, 4 nights, standard room.
The extra discount is because I am a dinosaur
3 nights was in my schedule, but at those prices I have added another night.
It will be saturday about 6pm when I check in so I have given a credit card guarantee so the deal cannot be changed if I am a little late.
