Although I have not stayed at the Grand Millenium, I believe it is more 'high end' and a class above the other two hotels. I have stayed at Park Plaza (2x), FurmaXclusive (1x), and also S Sukhumvit Suites (1x). My rankings:
1) Grand Millenium
2) Park Plaza
3) FurmaXclusive
4) S Sukhumvit Suites
The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and Westin Grande Sukhumvit are other high end hotel options in the same general area. I've stayed at both a few times, both are excellent hotels. Room rates are a bit higher than Grand Millenium though.

A few years ago I stayed at The Westin for a couple of nights, the room was very good and the bed awesome.
After I escorted my TG off the premises I was ready for my brekkie which was delivered to the room on a trolley, not cheap but I was going back to london that morning so mai pen rai.
I think at the time Westin was available on Priceline.
I thought that the Peninsula was supreme, but again now too expensive.
One day I shall treat myself to the Mandarin Oriental.

There's some better hotels in town than the SGS, but they are on the river or Silom -Sathorn and inconvenient. The SGS is a luxury collection hotel and much nicer than most Starwood properties. Huge rooms, huge bathrooms, great gym, elevators from ground to room (avoiding the lobby) and arguably the best pool in BKK. It's attached to the BTS station, close to SC, close enough to Nana & Soi 22. IMO the Westin is just OK. I've stayed there 4 or 6 times and don't anymore. So many great new small 4 stars have been built the last few years. They are just as nice as the Westin and going for 15-1800. The Sheraton still gets my $$ from time to time. Love the Conrad too. Hard to beat it when Hilton does its 2-fers (like now), and you can snag it for 3500 or so. Location can't compare to the SGS though. Oh yeah, all Hilton Asian properties are 2 for 1 on weekends in Jan. Just booked a club floor room at the Conrad Bali for $120 ! wj
