Yeah, Cal, they are just like a pack of rabid dogs. It has little effect on me, though.
Wonder what Doc Lub said about me. He has me on ignore so I can't read any of his musings. He is merely another internet ninja that hides behind the ignore feature. 
QQ is certainly spun up, though. Maybe if I resorted to name calling like he does, it might get him even more excited. 
PS: A Ministerial position means exactly that. A position within a Ministry. I never said you claimed you were offered a "MINISTER'S" position. Sometimes it helps to read the big words too. 
PPS: I didn't believe it then and I still don't believe it now. Since I don't resort to name calling though, I won't call you a liar.

yes he owns 2 homes, and keeps both of them empty just in case he decides to stay in 1 of them
whereas the 2 I own are both rented out, meaning with my profit I can afford to stay in a hotel and still own 2 homes and let someone else pay my hotel bill too
its not the number of homes you own, its the number of tenants you have living in them paying u rent
or as my old boss used to say (net worth about $400 mill) - its not how much u have in the bank, its how much a bank is willing to lend u that tells u how much u r really worth

I don't want to rent either of them. I spend most of my time up-country but want the home in Pattaya available when I need to go down there. Just a personal choice.
I would probably agree with your old boss if I was younger. However, I am settled now and have not borrowed money or used a credit card in over 30 years. That has it's advantages as well.

It's a damn good day if I'm in any of 'em. I've yet to stay at any of the hotels on the river except the Sheraton Orchid and that sure isn't 5 star. wj

I preferred the Shangri La when I had to stay in hotels.
