I am going to stay at the Grand president..
I read on some site saying that this hotel charges an
extra 650BTH if you bring back a girl..
now of course I will book double...
but it said they will just charge you for a TG..
is this true? can someone please tell me..
so I cant change hotels if they are gonna give me hassles.. ON their offical site it says maximum 3 adults..
so thats perfect for my threesome..
but not If I have to pay an extra 1300 bht...
please let me know..

Don`t panik,
I will be in the GP in 2 weeks. I have stayed there on my last 3 trips. Absolutley girl friendly. The will check the girls ID, but this is for you own safty. I usually book a Topaz studio, single accompany, and was never botherd for joiner fees. Last trip was in August.
Maybe we can hook up. I will arrive February 9th.

Have stayed at GP several times,Main hotel on one side of Soi11, Topax suites on other. Never had guest problem with either.
Found main hotel better than Topaz but more pricey.

I have stayed at GP 5 or 6 times in a Royal Suite and have NEVER had an issue. Booked a double and never even had security ask a guest for an ID.

Sanook, Scobie or anyone with knowledge I would appreciate your input. My experience is with Grand President, Soi 11. I could not, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to anyone. Reason? Because they don't take care of the property. It is run down, service is slipshod. They have no concept of non-smoking floors, wings etc. To these idiots non-smoking simply means that no one is burning a fag in there at the present moment. Usually a person needs to change rooms at least 3 times to find something with which he can be happy.
Some of my friends used to like to stay in Tower 3 due to the availability of late night skinny dipping in the pool with their date of the evening.
So my question is this: Looking at it - all these hotels are part of one group. Is their attitude to maintenance uniform? Or do some properties stay spit polished while others languish & go to seed like GP?
President Park would look to be one of the best kept, possibly due to the fact that it is more a group of condos versus being a hotel. President Park's location excludes it as a BTF top 10'er.
So guys - feedback please on President Group. Thanks

I have never stayed in Wing 3 so I cannot speak for it. I always stayed in the building on the right as you come up the driveway and the Royal Suites that I stayed in have always been in pretty good shape. And the newly remodeled rooms are very nice.

The corportion (CB Richard Ellis Asia) has taken over for the worse. The prices are up, the service is down. There seems to be no accountabilty. This happens alot when there really is no one to answer to; it's a crapshoot IMHO. If you insist on Tower One (Topaz) you'll be O.K. I would get a rate I'm happy with and pay in advance via the Internet. That way it is easier to avoid extra charges. Book for 2, just in case. You know, Mr. & Mrs Smith.

Stayed at all President Group's hotels. President Park is my favorite. President Solitaire is a close second. Royal President is a so-so and Grand President is a no-no.
