Case#1 saw a motor taxi sliding down the road behind a car, passenger hit the gutter and bounced 6 foot into the air, motorbike continued down the road into the car in front.
case#2 car in front of taxi opened its doors, taxi driver dead.
case#3 car in front of taxi opened its doors, passenegers head bounced of concrete power pole.
case#4 motorbike taxi driver on my soi, killed recently, squashed by truck.
case#5 Motorbike taxi drivers often sit around all afternoon drinking Thai whiskey.
case#6 2 motorbike taxi drivers become white chalk lines around their original self, double fatality.

Case#7 Insurance companies will often not cover motorbike accidents, some will only cover half, others will not cover unless you have a full motorbike licence in your country of origin.

Look Motorcycle taxis are fine, (you chickens!) all carry Internationally approved Full Face Helments, CE armoured Jackets, Leather Gloves and riding boots for their passengers. Oh, maybe that was only for the ones going to the Cave!!!!

I take the bikes when I have to but usualy just shut my eyes and think of something else, even when there is very little traffic just still have to cut in and out as there life depended on it.......... anyway back to the thread
I have been staying here for a week now and hers my additions to the comments made before.
Daniel, top guy even meet him on the Suk the other night for a couple of cold ones. First night I was here bumped into him late at night started to chat about the internet settings needed, he saw I had girl in tow and said "We will do this tomorrow you have other stuff to do now"
The busy / make up room feature is great as you just know housekeeping are not going to bother you and when you turn it back to make room staff are there PDQ.
Strange that when I have been up early, all of them are turned to busy on my floor.........
Girls no problem, but be carefull if you take them in for a drink downstairs as last night I was grassed up by the girl behind the bar, as she had seen me with 4 or 5 others and she is quite shirty with me now. Good job last nights knew me butterfly
Only problem I have is with the internet, I need to be online most of the day, but it looses connection now and again, and my VPN to my customer not works, Daniel says that he has his guy do as much as he can on the server, so not a lot else to try, I would bet something still not setup right though as you get the proxy page up in Swiss (I guess) saying something is blocked
Hotel seems busy and not sure if its in his hands if we BKK tonight memebers will get some discount.
