but in many cases they may have already tried it your way, and it didn't work out for whatever complication.
I also try to improve things in daily life, but usually try to stick with the things that I have at least some control over first.
and what about the guys you advised, and your idea caused them problems/failures ??
they certainly aren't laughing...

Yes, suggestions are great, but I was a little taken aback (& I bet so was EdenPapa) when you posted to ask if he'd done anything concerning the suggestions you'd made a few days or a week prior.

I and my family have been succesfully in this Industry since 75 years. When I was 10 years old I have started taking interest in our business and now I am 46.
It looks hunky dory from outside, this industry. But, except and until your are a hard task master with your employees, you cannot give the guests the satisfaction of a good stay.
Might be that the management will be very pleasant with we guests when we are there. Will they be as pleasant with employees if they goof up? No sir.
Hospitality Industry will succeed only when you run a tight ship.
All the goof up that is happening in Grotino are certainly going to make this pay at one time or another, if this is going to continue.

I request you to kindly go into the sugestions I have made before commenting on them.
All I wanted was a hanger to be fixed for hanging our clothes when we are in the room and certain other small issues like that. What is wrong in asking him whether he has implemented them?
Didn't you find inconvenient keeping your clothes when you were in that room?
Other issues also I will discuss with you if you want me to. If you find issues where solutions can be found sensibly why not suggest those solutions?

I have to lookup your place when I am intrested in the S&M hotel, Taskmaster. Geez what country are you from, Oh I see from the profile India LOL
Still got that bullwhip in the back room or have you switched to a cane?
Well lets see Thai people are just chomping at the bit to work at the JW Marriott in BKK. Why let's see:
1. Most days off for employees of any hotel chain.
2. Very Good pay.
3. Give the power to make small decsions always in the customer's behalf.
4. Pool all 10% service charge and split amoung staff.
They have the positive reinforcement attitude that reflects in the nice attitude given to the hotel's guest's by them.
