Well it seems that things may have in fact changed,, if we can get a few more confirmations of "girl / guest friendly " then I suggest BK adds it to the friendly hotel list.
The only reason I have not stayed there previously was the fine on guest crap.

This is a very good hotel. Accomodation very good and in clean state. Hotel promptly answered any issues I had with the room (took a two attempts to sort out a problem with the shower - but all done).
Hotel is not guest friendly with a joiner fee of 500baht - but if you are lucky (and fast) enough, you can sneak a joiner thru the carpark entrance.
My overall opinion is it is a good respectable hotel and obtained at a good rate via Asiarooms.com

Yeah come through the car park entrance then you'll bypass the dudes at the entrance (you won't see the reception)

As a newbie to the forum here but not to BKK. Staying at the Zenith in 4 weeks for 3 days - where is the garage ? I don't intend paying 500 baht each time I bring someone back - and I will be !!!!

Corocroso- Maybe your friend gets to bed early. 
It's been awhile since I started this thread, but at that time, their policy was quite novel by Bangkok standards.
They assess 500 baht per lady (even when you've booked dbls) after 10PM until 5AM

Heard from the hotel if you book directly with the hotel, no joiners and no probs. If you book via an agent/site, you will be required to pay. Hope some guys will stay there to set the record straight once and for all. As the hotel is well located and offers comfortable accomodation for the money.
