3 years ago I used majestic suite a lot. I cant see how anyone would prefer nana over majestic.
unless nana hotel is the real thailand.....................lol.
now since I tend to stay a long time I stay at 550 baht hotels, not many around mind you......in fact only one I know of in nana area.

I have stayed at both (Majestic & Nana) and like both but prefer Nana. It's not to everyones taste but I like it good for the money and the local. Breakfast is great and very entertaining have not made Angels disco lately but will try.
Staff seem to me to be fairly good at their jobs and not grumpy as of old? The little pixie in the car park always makes me laugh as does the old boilers that lurk by the door.
Nana it's an experience.

That is true, Nana is an experience, and not at all the worst. I think for around Baht 1'000 the hotel is OK, the staff is friendly, no joiner-fee, and: nice bars surrounded!

You could stay at the Nana hotel for a week, have a good supply of girls when you wanted......and you'd never even have to leave the hotel.
Watch out though, if you walk past reception and do not have at least one girl in tow they'll look at you funny.
Buffet breakfast is OK for the price, lots of bar girls dining with their johns in the morning. Most of the girls and some of the guys have blank stares.

I have not stayed at the Nana in several years. Is the buffet breakfast still included in the price of the room?
Things that I like about the Nana Hotel: The breakfast. Sitting in the lobby watching all the happenings. The proximity to NEP.
The thing that turned me off and made me start looking elswhere was the roaches and the ants. I can sort of tolerate the roaches running around the bathroom but I cannot take waking up with them in the bed.

Yes that would put me off too. Have you tried sleeping with a light on? They don't like the light much. A bedside light should be enough, or leave on the bathroom light with the door ajar.
The ghosts might stay away too if you leave the light on.

I've never stayed at Nana, but I often go there for breakfast just to watch the morning circus - some really hilarious characters there.

I stayed at the Majestic more than 10 yrs ago back in the days when np was open all night so it was impossible to sleep at night.
It was brand new back then now I stay at the dynasty, never stayed at the nana hotel.
I also stay at the playboy a lot.

I suppose the length of time that this thread has lead undisturbed answers my question, but I am swinging through BKK in a few weeks and thought of staying at the NANA Hotel for old times sake. Last time I did it was horrible with a Roach infested room and that is my question anyone stayed there recently and have they got rid of the roaches?
I did pass by for a haircut (very worthwhile) a coupe of months ago but it is a shadow of the place it was back in the early 2000s.
Any thoughts any feedback?
