Aha! A fellow gastronome, eh? Well, in that case, and especially if you decide to stay at Dream, be sure to dine at the antiquated but charming 'dive' of a restaurant there on the corner of Soi 15 and Sukhumvit. The menu is more Chinese than Thai [Thai Lang. only, too] but it is magnificent food. Same family owners for the past 70 years.
If you like noodles, their Ba mii haeng talae is scrumptious. All manner of their duck is divine, too. But beware the hoi kraeng- I swear, it is never quite cooked enough and one time left me reaching for the immodium in the wee hours.

have to admit, I love that hole in the wall.
lets have martinis and dinner at flava one night calzo. maybe bring in some reinforcements like jack etc.
the more, the merrier and you can always charge it to the room, LOL.

Love that dive -know it well and have had the duck and noodles with an ice cold Singha or Tiger - I am salivating

Absolutely ! I am glad that they do not falang down the menu, my Boss keeps taking me to the Blue Elephant here in Dubai and the food is terribly bland.

Must say - the rooms are very impressive, the eatery Flava is awesome -really enjoying my stay at the Dream. Flat Screen is huge - the rooms are a bit on the small side but very well appointed. Definately a Thumbs Up. Cant beat the location.
