there is a good european and thai restaurant downstairs and they have their own bakery.
I can recommend the food and the fresh bread and bakery items.
brekkie is an extra 100.00 but very generous.
if you still see light in the restaurant after 2 am. there might be a chance that they are on overtime...
I stayed there last weekend, actually I overstayed for a night (overtime).

Just checked out of Grottino today and headed back to Hong Kong. A 3-4 day stay turned into a very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay. This is a great place if you are looking for some serious, quiet down-time - I agree with all the good things that have been said about the place. Very friendly and helpful. I just mentioned the BT website and there was no hassle at all with the free nights. Food is really very good.
Just a couple of points to add:
1. They are still waiting for a Visa terminal so cash payments are the order of the day for the present
2. TV is tuned to UBC (excellent reception) but no Thai channels (first hotel in Thailand I have ever been that has no Thai TV) - this of course may be an advantage when the TGF immediately switches on the TV thinking she (or they) can enjoy a few hours of viewing - it concentrates their attention on other things! You can get weak reception from Channel 11 if you tune a vacant channel on auto tune - that's enough to make them feel a little bit at home I guess.
I will definitely be going back - the location is great. Just a few minutes walk from Cowboy and if you take the back sois up to Soi 3 and across to Nana it is just a 10 minute taxi ride depending on the traffic. BTS is a short stroll away. Family Mart on the corner of the soi and plenty of food stalls to keep the TGFs recharged.

I always unplug the TV and wrap the plug high up so the TG cant get to it. There's nothing worse than paying for a girl and then being insulted because she wants to turn on the TV so she doesnt have to think about you or interact with you.
I'm paying her to focus on me, not to while away the time!

I want to book with Swiss Grottino but it has one big negative: It doesnt have a gym. Therefore, I was wondering, could I pay and use the gym at the Westin Grande right next door? Maybe 500b or something?
