I had thought that the point made by koolbreez was fairly obvious and answered questions 1 and 3 by itself. I do not have the tolerance to teach; especially those that ride the short bus, so I did not belabor his point. As for question #2, RTB answered the potential problem with taking different women to your room from the downstairs bar by an example of a man who did just that and had no trouble whatsoever. This indicated to me that the owner has brought in women and made it clear that butterflying WILL be tolerated by them. Again, should have been obvious, but you missed the point. As for #4, you should read the past several pages again and then you might come to the conclusion that nobody here agrees with you. Please stay down under and let Oz represent your country. He is doing a fantastic job and you are just f*cking it all up for him.

Look - RTB has clearly stated that he is good friends with Daniel and the Hotel. Also the level of information that he has about the hotel and the information on guests goes a bit further than having a passing interest in the place. Add the content and context of his posts throughout the thread and start doing the maths. I asked the guy to be a bit more objective.
I guess I'm the only one that sees that....

Stayed there again from 15/October<>25/October. My 2nd time with the last being in August.
Couple of comments...
As some of pointed out there is construction going on on Soi 17 of a condo but I did not hear it from my room (room 33 > facing the car park).
Yes, the bed is hard but for me I prefer it that way.
The girls who clean the room are great. Never once in a total of 17 days in two stays did I ever encounter them in the room. I leave, they come in and the room is all made up. What I like is that they do a thorough job and everything is done right. So many times a room being cleaned can be hit and miss as to everything being done properly.
Hot water... Sore point. It lasted for a grand total of 4 minutes (yes, I timed it) and then it was gone. Talked to them 3 times on it but it never got sorted out. Place full so I could not move.
Walk of shame... who cares... never bothered me but just use Soi 19.
Rate is 1700bt and still no in room phones but then this did not bother me for I have a cell phone.

The answer is to have very quick showers and get in before your tbg. Very annoying if you like to soak in the shower.

Most hotels I stay in Pattaya use the same system and when they are new they work great. Instant hot water. I would have asked for another room and checked the hot water before I moved.

I had the same problem with the Water, really the only issue when I stayed there. As I understand it (heard this from the Hotels owner) each room has its own Hotware Supply tank (not a flow through Instant System like cheaper Hotels) and so once used up you have to wait for it to reheat!
My TGF use to use all the Hot Water, so it was easy to fix, just got a new TGF who showers after me!!!

ouchhh ! I booked at SG long time in advance for my next trip end december-start january after all the good things a friend told me during my last bkk stay few weeks ago and all I read here, but I like to "soak" in the shower with my tbg...
well, I'm sure we'll have a good time though
