> Heard that there is WI-FI in each room. Anybody use it? and is it always working?
I arrived last night and Wifi was down. It's working now. 450 Baht per day for wifi. Once it started working, connection has been fine.
I think the Majestic Wifi is visible at Nana. On a friday night probably one of every type of portable wifi device used in the history of the world is carried into Nana - and the owner tries to connect to any visible net. I speculate that their login server can get overloaded with bogus connections some nights. The hotel net is unencrypted. Security would be a problem without some kind of additional encryption software like openvpn or ssh.
The noise from the subwoofers at Nana is just a quaint reminder of what you're here for.

Wi fi works in the rooms, you do have to have a code for it, I wish it was wired bcuz the wireless has trouble being powerful enough to run my slingbox.

Better late than never! I just have to give credit to Tim for a smooth check-in and stay at Majestic Suites a few months back. I just couldn't ask for a better stay. The only two things about the Majestic Suites that weren't A+ were the tiny closet and the lack of any extra space in the room. But, except for those two things, it was all good.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The free breakfast was very good. I was on Floor 5 and the room was quiet. The bathroom was very nice with a very big tub. The bed was clean and comfortable. Excellent remote set-up for lights, a/c, and TV.
Compared to the 5-star hotels in BKK, maybe this one doesn't measure up. But, for my budget, it was perfect!
